Shan ~A~ | 715 comments For 2. Using the letters in title, series title, and/or author first/last name (in any order)

Am I correct in thinking we can use ALL letters and not just the first letter of each word or name?

Correct, all the letters!

megs_bookrack ((struggling to catch up)) (megs_bookrack) | 3167 comments Do you go through the alphabet personally, like my first book I will record needs an A word, my next book needs a B, etc., or do I need to be paying attention to what the rest of my team is posting?

The team will need to post in alphabetical order. You will have a team spreadsheet so that you can keep track of it all. They do not need to be read in order, though. If someone has a book that works for E, but A-D haven't been finished or posted yet, you can wait to post or have the link to the reviews and such on the team spreadsheet, and someone can post for you once D has been posted.

EDIT: You do not have to post the books in alphabetical order, I will be counting them in that order. Books can always go on hold until you reach that letter.

I also forgot to mention this in the sign-up, but it will be on the team spreadsheet. When posting for X, you can use words that have X in them. For example, you can post for anxiety pills.

You can bring scrubs or the devil, lol. I think last time we did this challenge, people brought characters.

Grace Btrs (gracebtrs) | 2738 comments Hey! Could you walk me through what counts towards Buddy reads?
I saw in the spreadsheet that "Buddy reads must have a minimum of 4 comments to count, and comments must be detailed, and about the book."
(I think I saw some additional details somewhere else, but for the life of me I can't remember where ~ sorry!)

Could it be with another group for example or someone I am buddy reading with outside of this group? Also, how can I show the comments or discussion IF this is an acceptable case?

Thanks!

Buddy Read Rules:
*Buddy reads must take place within this group to count for bonus points
*You must have a buddy for a buddy read to count
***When asking for a buddy read thread, you MUST list the name of the person you are buddy reading the book with!
*Even if your buddy does not show up for the read you still get buddy read points
*Buddy read threads only last for 14 days after the thread start date or the last comment posted (whichever is later)
*If the thread you want to use is expired (past 14 days) you must find a new buddy and ask for the thread to be reset
*You must make a minimum of four comments on a buddy read to earn points

Grace Btrs (gracebtrs) | 2738 comments I have another question
the rules state we can use two books for the same object as well.

Can we use the same book for more than 1 object as well?

Do you mean using one book for C - Candle and then for D - Danish? No, you can’t use one book for two objects.

Unless two people read the same book, then yes you could use one book per object. One person can’t use their book for two objects.

It would be on hold until you reach the next round if that letter isn't available or is already on hold for the current round you are in.

Grace Btrs (gracebtrs) | 2738 comments If 3 of us are doing a BR, and each one of us manages to find a different word (3 different words in total) to use for the same book, will the BR bonus points be counted towards all 3 words or just 1?

BR bonus points are counted for each person, so yes, all three would get it once they have completed and posted on the team's review thread. Just don't forget to add the BR link :)
