How's it going for you? Anything you need a cheerleader for? What prompts have been surprisingly easy/hard to find books for?

Personally I am having a not great week - the kiddo has an eye/ear infection, which is thankfully responding well to meds but he is not sleeping great. Consequently the adults are not sleeping great either. And I personally would love it if I could stop getting pulled into meetings I do not need to be at, lol.

On the plus side, I did finish an audiobook!

Denise | 524 comments I already finished 2, which was my prediction! I hope I can finish 2 more before this ends. Fortunately one of my prompt choices is one of the popular ones...but some of my least faves are also in the lead so hopefully i can add to 2 different prompts I prefer.

Joan Barnett | 1972 comments I've completed one book and I should be able to complete another one today. I'm hoping I can complete Fairy Tale this weekend!!

Sherri Harris | 1502 comments I’ve finished one book. Will finish another one today which I’ll use for multiple character POV.

Jennifer W | 678 comments I completed The Drop, but I don't know where it could go. I thought about a book about a discovery, because the bad guys are discovered, but that seems like a stretch.

I'm hoping to finish 2 more by the end of the week for multi pov and maybe 500+ pages, though I'd rather not vote for that! lol
I'd really like to get some fiction books about real people and events read, but I won't have time.

Marie | 1062 comments I've surprised myself by finishing two already and am halfway through a third that I might get done today. I was five behind in the challenge, so this is really helping!

The part I'm struggling with is deciding what to vote for. I've been reading my planned AtY books, and the first two don't really fit for the prompts I like.

Pam (bluegrasspam) | 3841 comments I’m running out of time! I have two 500+ page books I’m reading. I think I can finish one of them.

Kathy E | 3325 comments I’ve finished two books and hope to finish two more.

message 9: by J (new)

J Austill | 1125 comments I finished two books (the ones I had started before the challenge but still >100 pages left) and have two more over halfway. So, I think I have a chance of finishing those 4.

I hit a snag with one of those. I was only able to get it as an audiobook CD, so was listening to it exclusively on the commute. But the CD player in the car decided it has no more taste for CDs (luckily, it spit out the library's disk). I'll likely need to borrow my daughter's discman for the last 2.5 discs.

The main book I have been working on is >500 pages, but I'm not certain that this one will get done. Just didn't have enough of a start on it going into the week.

Jillian | 2897 comments I’m hoping to finish my first book for the multiple POV tonight.

Picking three books over 500 pages with only about 10% read before the read-a-thon started is probably not the greatest idea. Especially, since I don’t have much focus for reading. I did decide to switch to a shorter audiobook, but I have no idea where it fits.

Sophia (jonquilles) | 192 comments I accidentally finished a 500+pg book (I probably would have picked something else if I'd looked at the page number first, whoops) so now I'm not going to finish much else this week since I'm going to be busy all of Saturday. Will probably finish one more and that'll be it for me, which is going to make my votes a little wonky! But that's the fun part, right?

NancyJ (nancyjjj) | 3568 comments I started a lot of books in recent weeks that I couldn’t finish at the time (other challenges, stress, no sleep, blah blah blah). Now I’m going to have to prioritize to see what I can finish in time.

I have
North Woods - animal on cover, lit fic.
The Calculating Stars - SFF
Long Bright River
The Glass Hotel
The Murmur of Bees

Alas, I finished only one.
