May Mini-thon: Midweek Check In

I'm hoping to finish 2 more by the end of the week for multi pov and maybe 500+ pages, though I'd rather not vote for that! lol
I'd really like to get some fiction books about real people and events read, but I won't have time.

The part I'm struggling with is deciding what to vote for. I've been reading my planned AtY books, and the first two don't really fit for the prompts I like.

I hit a snag with one of those. I was only able to get it as an audiobook CD, so was listening to it exclusively on the commute. But the CD player in the car decided it has no more taste for CDs (luckily, it spit out the library's disk). I'll likely need to borrow my daughter's discman for the last 2.5 discs.
The main book I have been working on is >500 pages, but I'm not certain that this one will get done. Just didn't have enough of a start on it going into the week.

Picking three books over 500 pages with only about 10% read before the read-a-thon started is probably not the greatest idea. Especially, since I don’t have much focus for reading. I did decide to switch to a shorter audiobook, but I have no idea where it fits.

I have
✅ North Woods - animal on cover, lit fic.
The Calculating Stars - SFF
Long Bright River
The Glass Hotel
The Murmur of Bees
Alas, I finished only one.

Personally I am having a not great week - the kiddo has an eye/ear infection, which is thankfully responding well to meds but he is not sleeping great. Consequently the adults are not sleeping great either. And I personally would love it if I could stop getting pulled into meetings I do not need to be at, lol.
On the plus side, I did finish an audiobook!
