Hi Lance you are the default profile, have a very common surname & just had some books removed a few days ago. I believe this will keep happening. Please contact Support (Staff) to be moved to a clean profile. You won't lose any reviews. :)

You have not claimed that author profile, so it is not yours or anyone's as yet. I have moved the translator and her book but it will take time to disappear.

If you wish to claim the author profile, click the "Is this you? Let us know" link near the bottom of this page: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... When approved it will merge with your current reader profile.

When I looked up the topic, they told me to post it here, in this thread. To add the links to the books that are not mine. And as I look at the other posts in this thread, it seems to be what most people are doing. If my case is different, I would ask to know why.

I'm afraid we can only guess why this happens, as we are volunteers & don't have access to the part of the site where Goodread Author profile status approval happens.

My guesses would be that either you didn't tell them which books are yours or (more likely) you got a new staff member who made a mistake. But we don't know.

It happens reasonable frequently. See message #452 & my response in message #453. Also #467 . You can go back further in the thread to see other examples.

If you feel you have been misled by wording on this site, you can request it be changed by Support (Staff)
