Azolla Books | 14 comments Hi folks,

How do you manage to promote your book online? Do you use tools like booklaunch.io or prefer DIY using tools like Wordpress?

Look forward to hearing more options and advice.

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 2274 comments I've never heard of booklaunch and I don't use Wordpress as I find it to be complicated to use. I go about with the whole DIY process however it may be, by going to sites, doing interviews, press releases, social media, here, etc.

hi Justin,

Yes, complexity is the problem I'm going to solve here.

Basically the idea is the page is for promoting your book, which will have the following information, and ideally it would require as few steps as possible for authors to get those info setup by some technical implementations.

- book title,
- author bio,
- book cover (ideally 3D),
- excerpts/highlights/quotes,
- reviews and ratings
- social networking elements like Twitter tweets, Facebook likes and comments.

Most importantly, I think for authors, is the
- quick payment,
- pre-order, subscription, and etc.

And it must be mobile friendly.

How do you think?
