Yeah! I'm home!!!

I enjoy traveling, and I certainly like helping my son move across country, but it is sure good to be home. (Even if the temperatures are supposed to soar up to 109° in a couple of days :)

Of the 209 reading prompts for this challenge, only two ask you to read a book that a friend or teammate has read or has on their GR shelf. There will certainly be plenty of other tasks for you to choose from if that one doesn't strike your fancy :)

I will be working on assembling teams this evening and post them at the beginning of this thread tomorrow morning. I can't wait for the challenge to begin.

*There will be 8 'Weeks' to the game.
*Week 1's tasks will be posted Friday, June 7.

*The game will conclude Sunday, Aug 4 at 12:59 p.m. (your time)
*If your profile is set to private, you will need to open it for the duration of the game. You may need to be contacted by the head of your team and there are a few tasks where your teammates will need to see your bookshelves.

I will continue taking sign-ups until the challenge begins, and hopefully I will have the right number to make up 5 person teams. And I imagine that we'll need back-ups players.

Teams have been posted in Message 1 of this thread. I really, really, really hope that I haven't left anyone out. Speak up if I did.

Captains, feel free to start a thread for your team. You may want to reserve a few posts for weekly tasks or scoring. It's totally up to you. You can start a discussion about a team name and if anyone wants to be scorekeeper for you team. (If you want one, that is :)

Denise and Erin, you'll notice that it's just you two for now. I'm certain we'll get a few more folks signing up soon. If you want to wait a day or two before beginning a thread, we'll see who signs up to play.

Your team is up to four players! Go ahead and start a thread for your team. I'm sure we'll get your fifth teammate soon.

And now you have a full team. I didn't think it would take long. Create a team thread when you can.
