Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

Hi! Forgive me if this is a silly question, but do Goodreads reviews not automatically link to the ISBN/ASIN of the book on Amazon's site? I see so many books on Amazon with both Amazon and Goodreads reviews linked, but I'm not sure how that happens. Is there something I need to do or request be done in order to make that happen?

Librarians are volunteers who do the book cataloging & stuff like that. & even though Amazon owns Goodreads, we don't have any insight to their functionality.

If a review appears on both Amazon & Goodreads I would assume the reviewer has put it on both sites. It is important to remember that the review belongs to the reviewer not the author of the book.
