I read The Lifeline: The big-hearted and life-affirming summer read about the power of friendship

Fiction about a group of people who find wellness via wild river swimming. The group includes a mental health nurse who starts up a group to build community and wellness in her patients

I read Wild Mind, David Barbur. 277 pages, Kindle
Connection: This was a fiction book about getting back to nature. Much of it centered around a group living in the wild and off the land. They felt the natural way was the best way for them to achieve mental and physical wellness. So, wellness and nature.

I have finished two books
The Anthropocene Reviewed - the author has well documented difficulties with depression - the book is a memoir centred around the time of the pandemic when he struggled with retaining his "wellness"

A Short Walk Through a Wide World the MC is walking across the world - Nature

linked to mental and physical well being - dystopian society where sleeplessness is a pandemic being cured by donation of sleep from people who have only good sleep.
Linked in that sleep is an essential component for wellbeing

I read Angel Lane, Sheila Roberts. It was 350 pp. Kindle. I think that is it for me.

Connection: A simple and happy book. It centered on doing a small kindness for others everyday and paying it forward as a way to get through life’s challenges. Mental health.

I read Something Fresh. The main character exercises everyday and convinces others to do the same to improve their health and wellbeing. So this book refers to the physical aspect of wellness.

The Midnight Library, audiobook, 288pg equivalent
Connection: main character had depression and many regrets in her life which the book explored through the midnight library to help gain ineight in to the best way to live her life.
