Zoe is the caretaker of her little brother and Landon has a medical condition, which is why in part he doesn't date other than being a man-ho. That is until he meets Zoe. I loved how their relationship developed and the ways they eventually were able to be supportive of each other. There are definitely some potential triggers for some people.

Nolan is the MC and he has a twin brother and they are pretty much opposites: Nolan never did graduate from college but his brother is a college professor. Nolan is a hair dresser (so was my dad so that was a connection I made). Nolan meets Harrison who is a lawyer when Harrison's roommate hires him to represent him. Nolan happens to be a witness to the case so he meets Harrison when he meets him to discuss his eyewitness account. Finally, Harrison has to admit to himself that he is a bi man who's never acted on it...until now. I liked their relationship and how the plot was developed and held my interest.

I love me a good Navy Seal or other military + romance book. Typically characters are wounded and oftentimes deal with issues such as PTSD as happened in this book, too. But I loved it!

This team was absolutely fantastic! I've participated in this challenge a few times before, and most of the time it didn't go well. But this time, it worked like a charm! It was truly wonderful to take part in this challenge with all of you.

And I am happy that my migraine let me read at least something and didn't get activated yesterday otherwise I wouldn't read at all.

Darkness, I've never dealt with migraines but I've heard they're pretty bad! Does your doctor do tele-appointments if you can't find a time you can see him that works? I hope you get help and some relief! Best of luck to you!

Both I and my son suffer with it. It can be pretty bad. Everyone is different but too much screen time + lack of sleep + dehydration is what triggers it for us.
Hope you get to the root of the problem and get better soon.

I second that. I'm very competitive, and it gives me anxiety to not go all in. Each and every one of you were a perfect level of competitiveness, a balm to my anxiously competitive soul 😅

I think we all agree regarding our team! We had the IT factor! We can’t be beat as a team no matter the outcome!!! Just super nice, competitive, chatty (love it), supportive and respectful!! I loved being on this team! We definitely must do more challenges together! I THOUGHT I could speed read but some of you blew right past me like on the freeway! ZOOM & you were gone to a speed I’ve never seen. It’s a gift!!!
