Challenge will start June 26th.

Hint Set #1: Be thinking parties. What kind you want to read about? What kind you dream about? What will you and your guests do at your party?

More will be revealed.

Hint Set # 2: What kind of party you want to enjoy in real life or in ideal or imaginary life? Any or all might be best?

for Level One. Here are a partial list of kinds of parties you might read to participate in this challenge.

Boating party
House party
Garden Tea party
Picnic party
Barbeque Party
Rent party
Family Reunion party
Adventure party
Funeral Gathering
Walking Tour Party
Hunting Party
Wedding Party
School Reunion

Or any other party you can think of that you might enjoy reading about.

Create a list of at least 4 (four) books on same or different, similar or dissimilar topics, anything on or near topic to increase your reading joy.

Hint Set #3.
For Level Two plan a party or two or more. Read at least two books to help you plan a party or two or more. You can use other topics/books to help you.plan your parties.

Will your guests be expected to dress in a certain way? Maybe your guest will be dressed in cosplay or period costumes or other specialized clothes, such as wedding attire? Perhaps read books showing clothing examples with maybe some commentary.

Will you and your guests will enjoy a rented house or some other building for a weekend or month-long getaway? Perhaps read books showcasing chalets or spas or cabins or other getaway houses you might like to rent.

Will you and your guests be engaging in specialized activities, such as painting or scuba diving or mountain climbing that will require specialized equipment? Perhaps read books on how to improve practice of specialized activities. Or perhaps read books describing the specialized equipment required or wanted.

Will you have a special menu? A surf-and-turf barbeque? A taco or hamburger bar? An alcohol-free (or alcohol) cocktail bar? Read books describing these food types--cookbooks, mixology and restaurant books might work here. I once read a book The Enchilada Queen Cookbook: Enchiladas, Fajitas, Tamales, and More Classic Recipes from Texas-Mexico Border Kitchens by Sylvia Casares, owner-operator of Sylvia's Enchilada Kitchen in Houston, TX.

Remember your increasing reading joy is the goal :) Take risks. Stay conventional. Be wild. Be safe. . . .

Lamilla | 818 comments Only 10 days left! Some thoughts for my TBR for this challenge

Level One:
The Fellowship of the Ring (The Lord of the Rings, #1) by J.R.R. Tolkien - I've recently finished The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien, both books have parties as a start. If I like book 1 and read it quickly, I might proceed with The Two Towers (The Lord of the Rings, #2) by J.R.R. Tolkien

Воспоминания великого князя Гавриила Константиновича by Гавриил Константинович Романов - memoir of a member of a Royal Family, has coronation and other memorable gatherings

Искусство терять by Alice Zeniter - continuing with my exploration of modern French literature

О муравьях и динозаврах by Liu Cixin - continuing with Liu Cixin works

Level Two:
Цветник в тени. Неприхотливые растения для вашего сада by Римма Карписонова - another book from "School of landscape design" series, now talks how better to arrange flowers in the least sunny areas of your garden to have a beautiful view thoughout the year

Морфология сознания. Том 2. by Сергей Вячеславович Савельев - non-fiction on human nature, might shed some light on why we need socializing at all

Kate | 643 comments I'm going to give this a whirl but I'm skipping level 1. I'm plunging straight into level 2 - party planning,

Venue
My first book is The Woman in the Lake which is set at a stately home.

Once I've finished reading this one I'll move onto books for dress, menu, guests etc.
