Mark Goldstein | 16 comments My latest novel titled The Miracle Mile has just been published. Here is a short description:

Parker's life is confined to a tiny, noisy apartment in City Centre's bustling gay neighborhood. Trapped in a monotonous job with scheming bosses, his living conditions mirror his daily constraints. A chance for suburban tranquility emerges, but moving threatens his relationship with his partner Francis. Suburban life brings new challenges: a homophobic neighbor, oppressive bureaucracy, and cultural barriers. The daunting municipal center, known as The Miracle Mile, symbolizes these struggles. In this surreal, darkly comedic novel, Parker's quest for peace amidst existential angst and tangled red tape unfolds, questioning the true meaning of happiness and freedom.

There is a current .99 coupon on Smashwords. Thanks for taking a look.

Yassin Ali (yassinali-yaz) | 4 comments Never thought I'd write a novel in my life but here I am starting a fantasy series called shattered on an ADHD impulse and book 1 is out.
Adventure fantasy with my own twist on mythology.

The first book "New World," a gripping tale set in an alternative Earth. Follow the journey of Devi, a human residing in an isolated village nestled deep within the mountains of Hellas (Greece).
His desire to break free from the confines of his village intensifies after the cataclysmic event known as the Great Shattering alters the world irreversibly.
Deviyos, perfected his skills in combat and self-defense under the tutelage of his mentor, Sylas, yearns to explore the evolving world and uncover the truth behind the Great Shattering. Armed with newfound abilities and martial prowess.
Accompanied by his mentor Sylas, his steadfast friend Jane and a cadre of both familiar and unfamiliar faces, Devi encounters mythical creatures and even encounters deities from Greek lore that he once dismissed as mere legends from his childhood books.
However, as Devi delves deeper into his quest, he finds himself ensnared by the webs of fate, grappling with forces beyond his control. Suspicion arises regarding the secrets concealed within his former village, prompting Devi to confront his own hunger for the unknown, recklessness and the unintended consequences of his actions as he places his loved ones in peril.
Will Devi navigate the treacherous path ahead and emerge victorious, or will his thirst for adventure lead to his downfall?
Embark on a journey of discovery, peril, and redemption in "New World," where the line between myth and reality blurs, and the true test of friendship and self discovery unfolds.
With a twist on Greek lore, dive with these unforgettable characters on an amazing journey

Sarah Catherine Roy | 8 comments My new book Clouds is available on Amazon, under the name of Sarah Catherine Roy.

It’s based on enemies to lovers. It follows Thomas Jones and Angela Smith who become enemies after she ruins him in debate in front of the whole school( note that he is the most popular one). The thing is that they are in the same group friends, eventually that will create more tension between the two and so they will start a prank war. However, when they are forced to work together on a project, they finally bond over the fact that they both had a shitty childhood with childhood trauma.

Pat Spencer (pspencer) | 306 comments Hello Fellow Literary and Historical Fiction Friends and Fans,
Front cover reveal!

And please read below to discover what this story is about!
Sticks in a Bundle: The Early Life

“Absolutely stunning.” —The Bookouture Team.
“A richly told story, vivid and unique.” —The Booklife Prize.

As the middle daughter in a family of Xhosa, Zulu, and Dutch descent, Eshile Mthembu’s life celebrates the strength and resilience of the human spirit. She lives in a Soweto shanty under South Africa’s apartheid rule, a policy designed to squash her dreams and control every aspect of her life. Her story reveals a history of racial injustice many know little about, as experienced by a young woman trying to understand it herself.

Despite cultural, religious, and linguistic differences, Eshile’s family bases their love and strength on the African proverb: Sticks in a bundle are unbreakable. But when a stranger from afar offers an unexpected opportunity, Eshile must decide whether to secure her family bonds or embrace the promise of a better life.
Fans of coming-of-age novels illuminating the human condition through characters of disparate backgrounds such as Demon Copperhead, American Dirt, and Vera: The Novel are drawn to the tumultuous and inspiring life of Eshile Mthembu. Immerse yourself in Sticks in a Bundle: The Early Years, the first book of this poignant and gripping trilogy. https://patspencer.net

Kudos go to Simon Hough who created the cover for Sticks in a Bundle: The Early Life. If you are an author and are interested in Simon’s work, check out his website. https://www.wordhook.com/

Pamela Cox The brand-new edition of our book Tales of Habib the Hoaxter has just been released on Amazon!

I'm willing to bet that this book is unlike anything you've ever read before.

It's a collection of very short, very funny stories, each with a punch line that will have you laughing and eager to share with your friends.

If you enjoy stories that draw you in with the first line, take you on a little adventure of wonder, then spin you around like a fair ride, you will revel in these tales!

If you wish to experience the poor outwitting the rich and the unschooled outwitting the pompously educated.
Come take Habib’s hand!

These tales are quite simple on the surface, with rich layers of meaning beneath.

They are great for children, for the old and wise (or not so wise!), and for everyone in between. We can't wait to hear which tale is your favorite!

Odessa Cortese | 6 comments Hi, everyone! My name is Odessa Cortese, and I’m Brazilian, but I live in the U.S. and write books in both English and Portuguese—I also speak Italian and Spanish! Words are my passion; the way we can combine them to form sentences that we carry with us feels like magic to me! I recently published a book on KDP about a movie actress who is killed on the red carpet. The story unfolds between her past, narrated by herself, and the present, where investigators try to learn more about her life and find out who killed her! It’s free, and if you’d like to give this book a chance, it would be an honor for me! Here’s the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DJ7RGK8T

Russell Carroll | 13 comments My debut fantasy novel, Relentless Blades released on 10-21-24.
It's only $2.99 for the Kindle, or free if you have Kindle Unlimited.

Cross the wrong men and meet their blades!

In Zarune, peace hangs by a thread as the vragoths, once tyrannical rulers, hunger to reclaim their dominance. When an ancient scepter capable of tipping the balance of power is unearthed, they will stop at nothing to seize it.

Burdened by shame and hiding in a frontier town, Vigilanton never expected to stand against them. But when his estranged brother arrives to investigate the discovery, Vigilanton is forced to confront his past and take action. Joined by Grimlock—a half-skron driven by vengeance and haunted by guilt—they may be the realm’s only hope of stopping the vragoths.

As fates collide, unlikely allies engage in a deadly pursuit of these wicked fiends, while old grudges and past failures threaten to tear their fragile alliance apart. Time is running out, and each knows that failure will doom the land to the vragoths’ brutal reign.

The reviews have been great! You can check them out here on Goodreads.

David Sebra | 7 comments My third book is now published on Amazon. It is titled Exit 37 and is about young Carla who has dreams of becoming a lawyer. She was sure her athletic prowess would be the ticket to help achieve that dream. But then life happened.

Her athletic skills did not produce the anticipated scholarship. A subsequent marriage failed in a disastrous manner. Employment bought life threatening events. Roadblocks and impediments reached and tried to prevent Carla from reaching her goals. The obstacles became so severe that the young woman hit rock bottom. How does a person so young and inexperienced with life rise from the ashes?

Buy the book and read how Carla was able to cope. I would love to hear your review.
