Addicted to YA discussion

hi i’m new to goodreads and i’m looking for good books recs. i love murder novels and thrillers. YA, NA, and reg adult. I also like Contemporary novels and sad books that make you wanna cry. (every last word for ex, or true fault in our stars) light feel good YA romance too.
i find psychology fascinating so i’m also looking for good psych non fiction. also true crime.
I don’t mind romance but minimal. kissing is fine but i don’t want graphic scenes.

I absolutely recommend the Truly Devious series by Maureen Johnson!! They’re all YA murder mysteries with a light romance subplot.

Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen! It’s a feel good coming of age ya romance about two childhood next door neighbours; the girl falls first, the boy falls harder! It’s very lighthearted and comedic but also deals with life lessons including integrity, caring for people with disabilities, and learning not to judge others so quickly!
