Jason Oliver | 3047 comments This is a review of two kid's books that are absolutely fantastic. There Are Dads Way Worse Than You: Unimpeachable Evidence of Your Excellence as a Father and There Are Moms Way Worse Than You: Irrefutable Proof That You Are Indeed a Fantastic Parent.

These are hilarious and sweet for a great gift for any first-time parent. I would say a must for baby showers and presents for parents.

The Dads book runs through mostly movie dads/parents. Home Alone, Darth Vader, Thanos, but also historical parents like King Tut's father. At the end of the book, there is an appendix covering each dad/parents mentioned.

The Mothers book shows how awful mother are in the animal kingdom. Hamster, Dracula Ant, Panda and the like. Again, there is an appendix of each animal.

The book is also emotional and sentimental along with its humor. Just a wonderful book.

NancyJ (nancyjjj) | 11074 comments The title makes me laugh. As our kids got older it was fun to watch a movie together with really bad parents. It doesn’t hurt to point out the evidence that we weren’t the *worst* parents in the world. They of course would just roll their eyes.

My nephews are new parents, so I might pick these up for them.

Joanne (joabroda1) | 12580 comments I too loved the title. As of late my daughter (31 years old) has been reminding me that I was/am indeed a great mother-and has told me some stories of friends mothers and their relationship that floored me a bit. There is no feeling that compares when you did your job, and know you did it well.

I just ordered it and am having it sent to my Dad. My sister said it would make her day if one of her kids were to give it to her as a present.

I hope your nephews appreciate it. I showed it to my 14-year-old daughter and told her "See, I'm not so bad" and she just rolled her eyes, so I understand.
