MrFluffyBun | 5 comments Started off with my challenge as 25 books about halfway through the year, but was quickly making good headway, especially since I read a lot of comics, so I decided to up the ante to the full 75! Let’s hope I make it!

MrFluffyBun | 5 comments By the way, I’m at 16 so far!

I’m also in the middle of reading a bunch of things since I like to switch things up a lot. Trying a bit more to stick to only a couple or one book at a time to finish up things quick so that I feel alright about buying more new books. I’ve recently become addicted to buying from ThriftBooks and I feel that the only way that I can justify buying 6-7 new books is if I finish at least that many from my collection first! Haha

My last purchase was 4 books, including a hardcover copy of Norman Rockwell’s illustrations for the Saturday Evening Post, a 1961 collection of short stories from the Saturday Evening post (I’ve become fascinated with their collections since finding a 1950s collection at a used book stall at the LA Reading Festival and the stories were so so good that I had to keep collecting them), a copy of the Pocket Daring Book for Girls (a series I’ve loved since childhood), and Jane Eyre (which I started a while ago from a library ebook loan, but I much prefer physical copies, especially for the low price that comes with used books).
