LOVING this book!!!

The last page of chapter 18 cracked me up. The Emily vs. Mrs. Elton dynamic is funny enough, but the things Emily says out loud! So funny. Thank goodness she has Sarah there to "hush" her.

I just finished Ch. 19 where scenes with Mr. Henshall and Mr. Gwilt featured. I must say, with the exception of the Eltons, Sea View has been blessed with their first group of guests.

The other scene in 19 - Major Hutton, explain yourself!

Mr. Gwilt is QUITE the character! I wasn’t sure about him at first lol. He’s growing on me though.

Yes! He becomes more and more endearing. Enjoying it when he speaks.

I think Mr. Gwilt and Parry might be my favorite pair. 😄

The sailboat ride sounded so pretty, the coastal shoreline...!
Planning the Elton's dinner party - ugh - she doesn't seem very grateful. Romance is brewing ❤️!
