Tress of the Emerald Sea
read Part 1 (up to page 29)

Jess (jess_moodreads) | 7 comments i’m only on page 1 but had to stop because i can’t believe that

“The girl wondered why men so often used food to describe women’s features. There was a hunger to such men that was best avoided”

was written by a man.

Christina Carpenter | 30 comments Just finished part 1! I’m enjoying the book, so far. I usually don’t like male authors (all the offense and no offense) but I’m liking Sanderson’s writing style.

Sarah (sfoisy) | 3 comments just finished part one. this is so far so different from my usual but i've heard sanderson's writing raved about allll the time and honestly? not hating it

Sheena Lewis | 10 comments I really liked the world building in part 1, and getting to know the main characters. I look forward to seeing what happens when Tress goes to save Charlie 💚

Sheena Lewis | 10 comments Also the fact that Charlie’s plan to avoid getting married was to literally bore the princesses into rejecting him and it was working! 😂

This is the cutest little story!!! I've read one other Sanderson book, and it was NOTHING like this. I love how lighthearted this is.

Am I getting choked up at “you are my gloves too”? Yes. Yes I am.

Alyson | 33 comments i can relate to tress because i, too, have an absurd collection of cups (mugs); and i, too, love them all
