Everyone in life should have the freedom to help who ever they want to help. Little Willy has the freedom to help his grandfather farm and, Little Willy has the freedom to help his grandfather get wealthy again. Little Willy is going to do his best to make his grandfather happy to. Also Little Willy knows that things would get better if he keeps on working hard to make things right. He does these things by going to a lady named Doc Smith he knows that she would help him and his situation. Willy infers that things would get better.
John Reynolds uses description throughout “ Stone Fox.” He describes how Searchlight died to help his best friend Willy.When he shows how the people feel I know what it was like to see a dead dog laying in the middle of the road/ race. Another effect of this device is multiple points of view. For example when the crowd saw what had happen they did not say anything they just stood there and watched what was happening. Another effect of this device is revealing action . When Willy saw searchlight he immediately hit the ground next to her with his hands on her back. In Addition effect of the tone the tone went from loud to silent nobody made a sound or moved the just look with there eyes. All the eyes was on Little Willy and Searchlight. The mood of the setting was snow falling cloudy skies and very windy. What the snow represent is how everyone felt and the cloud is a symbol of hate and mean because the clouds were starting to get dark right before searchlight had died.
