Recs for short books?

I am really behind my schedule to finish my book challenge this year.. need some amazing short books recs so I can quickly catch up. Any genre is fine!

Claire Keegan has some beautiful novellas (Foster, Small Things Like These, So Late in the Day) that are quite impactful.
Prima Facia was another good one I read this year.
The Humans by Matt Haig is a light and humorous read while Transcendent Kingdom is the opposite.
You may also want to try audiobooks, particularly for car/bus journeys or running. Tom Lake is narrated by Meryl Streep and In the Shadow of the Mountain is a great non-fiction narrated by the author. Audiobooks count in my book!
