Your spreadsheet, Round 1 tab, has been updated with your first three characters: Man, King Candy & Tamatoa! Please remember that the challenge begins on 9/1 and that you only need to finish 4 tasks (out of the 8) before getting a new character.


FYI —this will be what the colors mean for the same round.
Light Pink will be a new character.
Light Purple will be when you complete the first 4 out of 8 tasks.
Dark Pink will be the new character you have but need to complete the remaining 4 tasks.
Dark Purple will be a fully completed character

I would definitely go with the majority on this, but it's always been easier (in my opinion) to post as you go especially since we can bank books to use for another task or for another round (if we make it to another round).

Thanks, I am not sure how this works, but I will do that.

Yeahhhh, I have a hard time picking anything in advance because I am sort of tied to my ARCs, so I generally read, review and then match the prompt after, or bank it for the next round if nothing fits. I will check here, because I don't want to step on anyone's toes by taking a prompt someone previously said they wanted to do, but I'm not perfect, so if I do, I apologize in advance! LOL

If I read a book that hits one of the ‘Man’ prompts is that something that would be banked? Or is that one finished? Sorry, first time.

You can bank it if it doesn't fit any of the available prompts, and post when Man comes up again

It fits one of the available prompts but ‘Man’ says 4/4 so I was confused if that meant we couldn’t do any of the other 4 right now or if we had to wait.

When a character is chosen, we have to complete 4 prompts from it and then another character is randomly chosen. Later, when the character comes up again, we have to complete the remaining 4 prompts. The round is completed when we've completed all the prompts for all the characters. Does that make sense?

Just an FYI, at some point today I will be letting you all post for page points only. You can still post for tasks if you want to finish out the characters you currently have, but it is not necessary.

Wow, this day flown by pretty fast, and this has been my first sort of break from work. That being said, you are more than welcome to start posting for page points now. You can still post for the character tasks that you have, but you will not get a new character after this message.
