Simon Jones (gibbonstales) | 7 comments Hi all,

Apologies if this is the wrong place for this question.

Myself and another writer are setting up a critiquing group for writers to help each other. We could use google docs but that means opening individual docs up, commenting, tracking etc.

Is there another way we could achieve a single view of things? I heard google classroom is ok, but I wonder if there are other platforms.

Many thanks

Simon

I think you might have a lot of success with Discord or Slack in terms of what you're looking for, since they both have the benefit of this sort of message board setup you find here. Slack was designed with sharing projects in mind, so it might fit the bill better overall.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Zofia :) I did kinda wonder about Discord, but not Slack (at all). I didn't really think any more on that since you can create side-channels that could serve as discussions and critique on the writing in question.

Cheers :)
