Most music I listen too is kind of mood music for the things I am writing. Personally, I like female singers who can really belt it out. I dont typically like those who cannot sing over the instruments, and dont have much more than a crashing sound.

My favorite band is Led Zepplin, followed by Lynard Skynard, and then probably Fleetwood Mac.

A song that resonates with me for one of my characters that I play a lot is 'It Hurts' by Emeli Sande.

I love the album Blue Flower because of its deeper meaning and connection to C. S. Lewis! My favorite songs by them have to be Where It Goes, Forever, and Endless Summer. Although I like so many of their songs that its hard to pick favorites!

I love how much Pale Moonlight is like The Silver Chair.
I love all their albums, but I think my favorite is She Waits. Specifically, High Enough, Not Home Yet, and Gone Are The Days. But I think my very favorite song by them is Train Station. It's just brilliant.

Have you ever listened to The Brilliance? I was trying to think of bands that give similar vibes to The Gray Havens and they came to mind. Some of Josh Garrels' stuff is similar as well.
