This is a perfect final post Bridget. Thank you so much, for everything.

Stinsford ("Mellstock") is, even now, a lovely quiet little village just a mile outside Dorchester ("Casterbridge"). Even so, Emma, Florence and Cecil Day-Lewis (the poet laureate who admired Thomas Hardy) are all buried in the little churchyard too.
