Can we get clarification in the manual on how to handle requests to change a name of the series?

Some librarians just change the name along with all the books in the series.

A long time ago another librarian told me that if the books were originally published under a series, that series should remain and a new series should be established.

An example is below. These books were originally published in 2022 under another series and now we have a request from the author to change the series name.

The series page can be changed, and the old series title added to the series description.

The series part in the title field of the books should stay as it was originally/should match the cover.
