I've been re-reading Twilight, being all about second chances, and 4 chapters in, I couldn't help but notice another aspect about Edward's character. The only reason Bella piqued his interest was because in secret, he has always been a nosy aunt (hence the ability, lol), who just couldn't rest till he got all the juicy gossips (for instance, why she won't go to the dance with Mike).
