Very, very shy. She may open up a bit more to people close to her, but overall she is very soft-spoken and timid. EXCEPTION: When Lios is submerged in water, she will become very self-confident and bold. Lois actually sees this as a weakness, but eventually she'll see this is really a power of its own.
She is also a total bookworm, prefering books over humans.

Her mother is naiad, and her father is a half-elf(since her grandmother was a full elf). Her naiad powers are definitely stronger. (If her father was a complete human, she would have been a complete naiad.)
Since her mother left her after she was born(most naiads do this), Lois has been raised up by her father. Her father is sometimes very befuddled about how to take care of a daughter, so this is why Lois is more used to taking care of herself.
Recently, her father decided she should go to school to learn more and (hopefully) make some friends, so here she is.

She can control water and breath underwater, from her naiad part. As mentioned above, she will get confidence from being submerged in the water. (Also, she will look slightly more attractive in the water — which is why Lois doesn't look very thirteen year old-y in the picture.) She also has slight control over plants, from her elf part.
Her control over water is pretty good, but her control over water is less than mediocre.

Séraphine is vain. She's beautiful, and she knows it. She cares a lot about her appearance. Ironically, if you tell her she's something other than beautiful, she won't be hurt. She'll just shrug it it off, assuming you are narrow-minded and not very bright.
She is a rule-follower, and wants everything to be just and fair. However, she doesn't have a good attitude and whenever she corrects someone she is very blunt and rude.
She has a nasty temper and isn't afraid to go after what she wants, and will do anything to achieve it. This does not win her a lot of friends. However, her sense of loyalty is extremely strong, and she will fiercely stand up for her loved ones.
She is also strong, mentally and physically. She will help those in need, but, like mentioned above, she has a very blunt attitude and won't waste time beating around the bush.

She grew up with both of her parents, who are some very important fairies. Because of this, Séraphine has had basically anything she ever needed. However, Séraphine wasn't entirely happy under the care of her parents because she wanted more freedom. Since she is the only heir to their fortune, her parents are very overprotective.
After a lot of begging, her parents finally allowed her to go to a boarding school (for the first time in her life) and make some "commoner" friends.

As a magic fairy, Séraphine has the power of persuasion. This gifted her with extraordinary beauty and eloquence. Her eyes seem bottomless and feels like a place you could get lost in.
Even when she's not focused on you, you'll still feel a slight need to do anything to make her happy and pleased with you. If she turns her maximum power on, who knows what she'll make you do!
However, this power is very draining and Séraphine will be knocked out for a long time afterwards, sometimes days, depending on how much she strained herself.
Her golden wings look very fragile and incapable of much, but in reality they are very strong and can let her fly very quickly and can maneuver even into the forests with a zillion trees.

History: Nishida's father died before he was born, and his mother never talked about, so he grew up not knowing his father. at the age of 6 the neighboring kids started calling him "ホームレス
Hōmuresu" Which meant homeless. When he first heard them call him that, he cried and ran into the wood, he stayed there for the next 10 years... until one night... something seemed to happen to him. He felt himself transforming into a beast, so when he came home in his demonic kitsune form, his mother sent him here.
Personality: Nishida is a shy person who tends to hide from a conversation. He prefers being alone, and in a quiet spot. He tends to sit alone in every class and hide under a hood.

Personality: Very witty, cocky, flirtatious but also very rebellious, brave, and an adrenaline junky. She's also very sensitive and insecure she hates crying because she doesn't want to be weak and doesn't realize crying makes you strong. She's bottles up her emotions and doesn't know how to express them. Deep down shes just sad and needs a true friend to see that.
History: The past year has been very fun for Drea, but nor for anyone else. She grew up in a small fairy town called Chestnut Creek and although she was raised to be a proper child she was the complete opposite. Wrecking havoc in her village was the best part of her day. Everyone thought that with time, she would learn, but she never did. When she was 16 years old she was kicked out, and banished from her beloved village, but that wasn't going to stop her. She wandered around for almost a year, living in new places, even once considering to play a human in cosplay. She then heard about The AMC, and new it was where she belonged. Quickly packing up her tiny campsite she had made in the forest, she slung her one backpack over her shoulder, and made her trek to a better life.

Personality and history: She is very pessimistic, dark, and mean. She is also very good with animals, because they are only there to listen. Most people approach her and try to be friends because of her looks, but she immediately shuts them down and insults them. Her parents left her when she was 10, and since that day, she feels like she isn’t good enough to be loved. So she makes people stay away from her by all means. But there is a side of her she has never showed anyone, kind and caring. She never lets that show because of her fear they will all abandon her one day.

Cam grew up with his Tio and Tia in their small apartment located in Los Angeles. He had always been a curious kid and would always question the things around him such as why he couldn't see his parents often and why he couldn't go and play with the other kids. He started showing signs of his abilities at the age of 7 but it was later when he was 11 did his abilities start to interfere with his life at home. Around this time, his aunt and uncle decided that due to all the drama with his parents that it would be best to send him to the academy where he didn't have to worry about his parent's dealings with the Black Order.

History: When Des was little, her older sister graduated from the academy. Yusel is quite small - he has muscles, but just enough to tone his body. To be exact, he's 5'4. He has gray skin with grayish-blue tattoos covering his body. His ears are pointed like an elf's and he has red eyes with black scleras. His hair is short and white with a tint of blue. He has a small nose and a wide mouth, with a large set of fangs which can sometimes jut out of his mouth when he's thinking. He has short black horns that grow from his head (one is chipped) and thin, bone-like bat wings. He has piercings on his ears, lips and other parts of his body. Yusel usually goes shirtless, with baggy red sweatpants. They wear a golden collar around their neck and a necklace of fangs. The bottom half of their body is panther like, and black claws come out from his fingers and can retract, similar to a cats. They also have a big burn mark on their left shoulder and scars up and down his arms and chest.
Personality: Yusel is overwhelmingly confident. They can be harsh most of the time, with brutal honesty. Of course, they lie as well, but they're very good at deception. Manipulation is a strong point of theirs, and they like to find the humor in things - even when it's not appropriate. Good traits? What are those? He's a literal demon, and it's pretty obvious. He's a sadist in every sense of the word.

Personality: Lucy is very talkative, but only once she gets to know you. She always says that there has to be a certain degree of both trust and caution whenever you are friends with her, because you have to trust her not to turn you to stone, and you have to be careful that you don't catch her without her glasses. She's very kind, and absolutely adores animals.
History: Lucy's past has a dark start. When she was younger, her parents gave her up for adoption, because she had never opened her eyes and they didn't want to pay hospital bills to find out why. But, when she arrived to the orphanage, she did end up opening her eyes, and turning the caretaker to stone. After quite a few new statues had been created, someone managed to tie a cloth around her eyes. She stayed this way until she was adopted by a sorcerer, of whom she still doesn't know the name of, and he created her glasses for her. After Lucy started wearing her glasses, the sorcerer gave her to a regular family, and there she was raised, homeschooled, and taught to behave until her freshman year, when her family received a letter inviting her to the MC Academy. Ever since the passing away of his mother, controlling his abilities became harder and harder, having to balance school life, work, and having to hide what he truly was. This eventually called the attention of his father, Apolaki, who had been noticeably absent throughout Oliver's life. However, this didn't mean Apolaki planned on becoming any part of Oliver's life. The most his father ever did for him was cause his existence and then send him to the Academy where he's been schooling for a year now.

( Apolaki is the god of the sun and war revered by the Tagalog and Pangasinan people of the Philippines prior to colonization. According to a legend, he was the son of the supreme god of being Bathala and a mortal woman, along with his sister Mayari, the goddess of the moon, having the power to 'bring light to the world' while his sister has the power complete opposite of him. While residing on the earth below, he encountered Maya Delos Santos or the tribe of Mandaya. The two grew to develop a relationship with each other, a very forbidden one which resulted in the birth of a child, a demi-god. When such news caught the attention of the tribe, instead of rejoicing and celebrating, Maya Delos Santos was shown nothing but hostility, even by her own family members. Backstory: Vesper doesn’t know who her parents are or where she was born. She was only one month old when she washed ashore on the local beach of her seaside town. Nobody really wanted to take her in, so they drew straws and she ended up with a family of four. There were two children, both older than her, and a mom and dad. The mother made an effort to welcome her into the family, as did Cece and Carter(her siblings) but the father didn’t want anything to do with her. When she manifested her power at four years old, she couldn’t control herself. A massive tsunami welled up from the nearby ocean. The only dead were the mother and a few other people. Nobody blamed her, except for her father, who saw it happen. He treated her horribly until she was eight, and that was when she snapped. She couldn’t take it anymore. History: (This is not true about Ushi-Onis, I made this up for roleplay purposes.) Yūrei was born an Ushi-Oni, but he had realized something was special about him as he got older. He could turn into a human. He didn't understand why at first, as none of the others of his kind could do so. So he decided to keep this a secret for himself. He had told nobody else. He eventually was allowed to go out into the world alone, as Ushi-Oni rely on humans for food and if they do not learn how to hunt for themselves, they are considered unworthy of being one and are killed by their own kind. Yūrei knew he had to learn how to hunt, so he confronted his parents for some advice. They told him to "never give up, even if you're on the brink of death and are unsure of what to do". Yūrei listened to their advice and he has gone by that motto ever since. He eventually found a letter to the Academy For Mythical Creatures, unsure of what to think of it at first. He asked his parents about it, they replied with "It was for your own good". He agreed to go there only if he didnt share a dorm with anybody there.

Phasma grew up as a normal human girl, her father was really kind to her and loved to play. Unlike her mother and sister who always held a grudge against her. One day the father somehow died and Phasma was devastated. Her mother blamed her for everything and in because she suspected that Phasma killed him she decided to kill her too. Manny (mother)took out a knife and gave it to Lola(sister), "stab her, will you?", the mother said nicely as Lola made her way to Phasma. Seconds later, the knife was stabbed on her stomach and blood dripped down onto the floor endlessly. She looked down and touched the knife, realising it was in her and coming out if her back. She looked at them with watery eyes and said "What did I ever do wrong?", without waiting for an answer she ran away to the forest, where she cried. Phasma knew she didn't kill her father and was still very confused. For 2 hours she stayed there and finally realised she was somehow still on earth. How is this possible, I'm supposed to be dead?, she asked herself. Two ghosts came to her from behind the trees. "Phasma!", one of them screamed happily and rushed over "I thought, I would never see you again!", "W-Who are you?", she asked still taking it all in. The gjost stepped back next to the other. "Right. I am your mother and this is your father. "No! My mother killed me and my father got killed too", she said and ran away again, screaming for help. The ghosts appeared in front of her. "We are your parents, we are dead and so are you, don't worry", the mother tried to explain. "Our family is made out of half spirits, meaning after we die we continue to live but as different species", Phasma finally stopped running "So I'm a ghost? And you too?", she asked. "Yes, this gives us also some pretty fun abilities", she said. "Come, I may not be able to teach you but I know a place where they can", the father added and waved for them to come. That's when she arrived at this school.
How did they get their powers: Her family were all half spirits, meaning when they die, instead of going to heaven or hell, they stay on earth as a half ghost. Half ghosts all have powers, mostly the ones from their parents.

Matthias was created by a selfish fallen angel who desired to become a god. The angel wanted revenge and to have a domain of his own to rule over, but instead he became attached to Matthias and raised him as a son. Matthias had been equally attached to the angel, despite knowing perfectly of his crimes against the Lord and intentions behind his creation. The angel had protected him, loved him, given him the life a normal child. But then one day he was ill. He knew why. Matthias was a very weak creation. The fallen angel could not replicate the strength of a true human being, and Matthias succumbed to that fact. However, the angel loved his child far too much to let his life end there, so the angel gave his soul to his son.
The next morning Matthias' woke to find himself completely alone. He had felt so much different. He could feel, and that's when he realized what happened. The first emotion he had ever felt was grief. He then remembered...this was the sixth anniversary of his creation, or perhaps better called his sixth birthday. That was what stung the most.
Today, Matthias cherishes the second chance his father gave him. He lives each day to the fullest, and continues to avoid the mistakes the fallen angel had made. Matthias intended to mate the fallen angel proud by living happy life. History: From a young age, Khione was taught by her parents the danger of magic. They despised it, and had broken off all ties with Alana's sister after finding out she had magic. When Khi was 7, she was playing outside in the snow when she first discovered her magic. She had been trying to build a snowman with fluffy unsticky snow when all of a sudden the snowman she had pictured in her mind started building itself. Khi was quite frightened, knowing exactly what her parents thought of magic, and tried to hide it in hopes that they'd never find out. When she was twelve, her mother sent her to go into the woods near her house to collect icicles and other winter things for Christmas decorations, for their winter party. Khi was just in just a thin dress, when she became lost. She wandered all night before taking a nap in hopes that she'd find her way the next day. When she awoke, it was to find Alana and Oliver yelling at her and how she should have froze to death in her sleep- except she didn't. Alana dragged her home and started screaming about what a freak they lived with and how Khione was no daughter of hers. Apart from his sonic screech, Camazotz's other weapons are his teeth, claws, and wings. He is notably strong enough to lift Kong up before dropping him hundreds of feet from the air. Camazotz repeats this process several times, showing no signs of exhaustion. When grappling with Kong, Camazotz utilizes his claws and teeth to deadly affect.

Camazotz leads a legion of smaller (by comparison) bat-like creatures that act as his eyes and ears as well as extensions of his being. Whether this is a symbiotic relationship or not is unknown.

Maya always loved animals, no matter the size or danger. She lived in the Mayan tribe where they spoke a special language. Their biggest fear was the Camazotz. The god of death, in form of a giant bat like figure, said to be made by the devil itself. But Maya didn't believe this, she knew that the Camazotz was a monster, but still, she had to give it a second chance. Maybe it just did something bad once? Maya thought. "Na', ba'ax ku beetik u le Camazotz bixake' jach k'asa'an?" (Mother, what makes the Camazotz so bad?), Maya asked her mum. "Ma' k tsikbaltik to'on yo'olal le je'elo'" (We don't talk about it), the mother answered. "Béet!" (Please!) "Lelo' suficiente maaya, Péenen le Taas che'o'!" (That's enough Maya, go to bed!), the mother shouted. "Je'el na'..." (Yes, mother...), she said quietly and went to her room. No! I have to fing out!, she thought. She packed a hand woven bag with food and a flashlight, she put her coat around her and when the moon was shining above thenight sky, she decided to go. After what seamed like two hours, Maya found a cave where she could rest. She took out her sandwhich and started eating, when suddenly she heard a growl. Behind her appeared a black, giant, bat like figure. "Ahh!", Maya jumped up. "Ka wu'uyik, ma' tin wóotaj in ja'asik a wóol"(Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you), the monster was speaking Yucatec. Once the man started chanting she could feal power going through her body, from head to toe. It burned as if she was in a fire and struck by lightning over and over. When she was finished, the man perished into ashes and they flew away in dirrection of sky.
When Maya came back with the news the tribe immidiantly tried to attack her "Devil child! Monster!", they screamed holding flames into the air, this left no choice but for Maya to run away, into a forest and finally into the mortal world. As the new Camazotz, she may have hated it but she had to eat mortals, else her abilities would fade and Camazotz' would be extinct forever... Later she got an invitation and accepted it. A place where she could learn her powers and protect herself seemed perfect, so she went there.

As the light shone through the window in little Loch's room, they could feel the warmth of the sun, gently rousing them from their slumber. As the child stretched and readied to welcome the day, their mother entered following a soft knock.
"Morning, guppy," Their mom smiled, the soft dimples in her cheeks making an already gentle gesture even more so.
"Morning, mama," Loch replied with a long, exaggerated stretch. "Why do you think the sun shines like that?" The curious child got to their feet and padded towards the window, staring out into the early morning light.
Their mother laughed softly as she sat on the edge of the bed. "Well because Lugh makes it shine. He is the sun god, after all."
Loch looked at their mother excitedly. "I wanna make the sun shine too!"
Another chuckle as their mother scooped them into her arms. "You already shine bright enough, my little guppy.
Worst memory-
"Hold on, I'll be right over!" Loch hollered over their shoulder as they weaved through the people huddled around the TV above the bar. With a few 'excuse me's and a bit more shoving, Loch finally emerged in front of the door to the kitchen.
"Cara, I need a new coffee for table five. The asshole dropped it on me," They motioned to their new white dress-shirt that was now covered in brownish coffee stains.
"Sure thing, love," The bartender stepped away from the counter and made her way back to the bar top.
Loch followed quickly, thanking the woman multiple times while she made the coffee.
Once it was ready, Loch walked back to the table where a man in a dark suit sat, glaring at the group of people crowding the bar as if they were nothing but pests.
"Here you go, sir." They set the coffee down in front of the man.
The gentleman's eyes met theirs. "Do you like the ocean?"
Loch paused, taking a second to process the question. "Yeah... I guess?" They shrugged.
"Good. You'll be spending a lot of time there." The smile that graced the man's features sent shivers down Loch's spine.
It wasn't until weeks later, when Loch turned sixteen, that they understood what the man meant. It was the moment she knew her life could never be the same again.

After Loch discovered that they weren't entirely human, they ran to the sea. While it was somewhere they had never been before, it felt like where they should be. After leaving behind everyone and everything they had ever known, they found the Academy, taking it as a sign. It was exactly what they needed, even if they didn't really know it.

The each-uisge is a shape-shifting water horse from Scottish folklore that inhabits seas, salt water lakes, and fresh water lakes. It often takes the form of a fine horse, a handsome man or an enormous bird, using its different forms to lure people to their death.

Loch finds it very hard to connect with people on most levels, whether that be emotionally or with basic interests. They struggle to let people in, being that their mother was the only one they ever really felt close to. After Loch left home, they could never really connect with someone the same way, afraid they might have to leave that person too. While they try their hardest to be an approachable person, their social battery often lacks power, so they avoid interaction as much as possible.
