Good catch! My mind is not quite ready for November yet, it seems. All fixed now.

Tori wrote October's final scores are in!
Sapphire 35.28 vs. Diamond 31.78
Emerald 33.87 vs. Ruby 48.89
Congratulations team - we did it! Thank you all. Keep on reading, we need points from everyone. Remember the easy point getters & enjoy your November books.

Also, I read a book back in October, and I forgot to add it to my post -- it still counts towards the challenge right? Should I add it under November?

Late posts don’t count in our monthly totals, but count in our final total score. If you post it when you do an update, I’ll put it in the spreadsheet.
Doing this challenge must be very difficult when you’re busy at uni. Perhaps read a few short stories, they may fit into your routine more easily. Only up to 10 in a month if less than 50 pages but it’s an easy 10 points compared with other books. There are various resources available for free stories online. Good luck with your studies & thanks for being part of the team.

I have a query, i finished the audiobook of Everybody is a Liar yesterday, however this doesn't have any page number mentioned in Goodreads , i can only see the length of the audio book as 3 hr 23 mins, how do i calculate my points for this ?

This was discussed in the main House Cup Challenge thread, messages #100-#103. But perhaps you could wait a few days to post your book - its publication date is tomorrow, so perhaps a printed copy will be added to Goodreads soon. Just make sure you post it before the end of this month. I hope this helps.

Please choose your books carefully so that you can claim points for them.

Apparently not, Richard! Sorry, I saw this yesterday but left it as the most recent message so other team members were more likely to notice it. I suspect some of the team rarely look at messages…
Of course, everyone may be busy gaining their 10 points for “easy” books. Come on team, it’s half way through the month at the end of today!

I having lot's of fun seeing the different read lists and taking notes ... besides reading myself. But I agree that I expected more engagement
I will go for the easy points on the weekend (as usual).

Same here, I'm in Australia. Where are you, Sandra?

Sandra, I agree the time zones are a problem. I’m in the UK. I usually have a quick look at the group before breakfast & often find Richard has posted his reading for the day that I’m just starting! I usually do all the updates daily, some time during the afternoon. I feel bad that I’m spending precious reading time doing updates instead of reading. I like to read the “easy” books in between other books as I use them to catch up at intervals. But it’s fun to see the huge variety of books being read by everyone else, which is making me try some books that I wouldn’t usually read.

At midnight tonight we are halfway through November. So I have a new challenge for everyone (except Richard - he has earned so many points already!)
By the end of November, can we try to double the points we have earned so far this month? Even more of a challenge, for those who have scored less than 10 points this month, can you triple your current score? (We all have different commitments, so don’t panic - we’re reading for fun, remember! But if we reach the targets, how many extra points can we get?)
🎈Targets:
Tr1sha, (22.5) -> 45
Ali, (11) -> 22
Sandra, (12.5) -> 25
Christene, (18) -> 36
Debora, (5) -> 15
Zach, (1) -> 3
Valerie, (5) -> 15
Richard, (205) -> 410, or any other number!
Marina, (6) -> 18
Anupama, (16.5) -> 33
Elle, (1) -> 3
Giulia, (5) ->15
