2-3-4 Challenge discussion

I don't have any reading plans for October. I'm leaving tomorrow for a bus trip to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. It's a 2-week trip across the country, so we'll be stopping at various attractions along the way. I don't know how much reading I'll get done. I feel like I start falling asleep every time I open a book when I'm riding a bus.

Hope everyone enjoys their October books. I'll come back and fill in the books I finish.

I'm back from my trip and had a wonderful time. We covered 14 states in two weeks. It was hot, hot, hot in Vegas. We walked nine miles one day in Vegas and it was over 100 degrees. Way too hot for me. The four National Parks that we visited were beautiful. I wish we could have stopped at a couple more of them.

I didn't get much reading done. I was in the middle of the latest Karin Slaughter book when I left and thought I would finish it before my library loan expired. Well, I got to 80% and made sure my wi-fi was turned off, but somehow it still disappeared from my kindle. (I'm back on the waitlist.) I started another book and was plowing through it when my kindle died and wouldn't turn on. So, in two weeks I didn't finish any books.
