I’ve had a bit of extra commute time to and from work these last few days so I’ve gotten a few books for this round finished already. Added them to the spreadsheet.

You guys have mentioned the issue before, but I just wanted to let you know that my mini-task update isn't showing for The Seven Year Slip. I logged it for an orange cover for the Admin.

Also, for those who haven't seen it yet- new round of Administrative mini is open!!

Update on Feeding the Family mini- only waiting for Lizzie to finish their India book, and Vi to finish their Greece book so we can start over :)

And update on the Gardening mini-
G40 - Trellis (series sequence) 2 - #5 in series!!
G44 - word in title contains a double vowel
G45 - word in title contains an H and 2 Os
needed to start the Gardening mini over :)

I'm good with Google Sheets because it's used at work. If you want, I might be able to figure out how to fix it. There should be something that makes things automatically updated.

Also, I'm almost done with my India book. It's just been a lot slower than expected.

Everything is in place to automatically update. I think it's some technical issue caused by these formulas referring to tabs that don't exist at the time of creating the formula. When you add new tabs, even though their tab names and cells are included in the formula already, the formula just doesn't "grasp" them yet - so what you do to get them to work is to click into the cells and hit enter on the formula again. Not difficult to figure out, just extremely annoying since it's all there already lol

I'll finish my Greece book hopefully today or early tomorrow. It's 500+ pages so I hope we can get the page bonus too.

actually, the H and 2 O's need to be in one word (which we (the captains) have also missed last round- luckily the mods were very lenient there since a handful of teams made the same mistake, but we can't let it happen again)

I finished my book for India.

I'm going to DNF Lorna Doone. I retried it after a break because it's worth a lot of points, but I'm still not enjoying it. It's been removed from the spreadsheet.

We're still waiting for Vi's book for Greece, but I've already added the next round of the Feeding the Family mini to the spreadsheet so you can start planning/claiming tasks :)

Remember to not finish any of these books until the first round of this mini has been completed (i.e. Vi finishes The Lost Hero)!

For the region tags - do they have to be tagged or does it count if the location is seen on the main page?

The Gardening mini should be complete now. I just finished the last book :)

Question: One of the books I'm reading doesn't have the exact bonus words but it does have "quilted" and "vinegary" in the text. Are those accepted?

Unfortunately not- only exact words count (+ plurals of course). And I just checked, my 800 pager doesn't feature even one of the bonus words so we could have options...

Question - I see 4 books on the R3 list for me (2 are assigned and 2 not placed yet) - I read 5 books - I don't see Timekeeper - am I missing something? I thought I added it. Let me know if I need to add it.

Looks like you might not have logged it- or it didn't get through at least. I think I do remember seeing your name on the ss with no book title or any other information at one point, just the reader logged, so maybe that's connected somehow... Can you post it again?

I'm still determined to finish Words of Radiance and I think I'll also be able to finish the BOM on time

I finished my U book and am done for this round. Definitely read more books last round, but also way shorter ones.

20.5 more hours to go until Round 4 starts!
