van & lottie collab idea: so what is Van initially sees Lottie as everything he dislikes about Aphrodite's children—sweet, naive, focused on beauty and love. Yet he finds himself instinctively stepping in when others try to take advantage of her genuine nature? Their dynamic can evolve as Van's protective instincts grow despite his attempts to maintain emotional distance.
van & erina collab idea: So what if since Erina is a fortress—stoic, unreadable, all sharp edges and a "resting battle face" that keeps most people at arm’s length. But Van sees through it. what if his emotional intuition picks up on the things she doesn’t say, the cracks in her armor she swears aren’t there. And just as he reads her too easily, she cuts through his coldness with blunt honesty that he isn’t used to facing? Neither of them would be comfortable with how effortlessly they unravel each other, which only would fuels the tension between them I think?
van & kallas collab idea: What if Van instinctively becomes protective of Kallas after witnessing other campers mocking his eccentricity or taking advantage of his dreamy nature? This protective streak surprises both of them—and everyone at camp who sees the intimidating fighter subtly intervening when others push Kallas too far?

lottie & van: oooohhhh i like this a lot. with lottie spending most of her life as an only child, she strives to build relationships with each of her aphrodite siblings, and though she would've felt initially rejected by van and struggled to overcome that due to her sensitivities, she displays persistence through small notions. wishes him a good morning whenever she sees him, always offers him a seat at the aphrodite table in the dining pavilion, defends him when other campers make comments about him. she eventually accepts that the two of them will always have some distance, so imagine her surprise when he starts stepping in and becoming protective of her
erina & van: LMAO this makes me think of this
i love love love the idea that he's constantly challenging her because he can see through the cracks in her armor. i doubt anyone's ever attempted to before because they're far too intimidated by her, what with her double lineage and nearly a lifetime spent at the camp. and here comes van, a mere son of aphrodite, who picks up on things about her that she often refuses to admit. and naturally, she lashes out, striking back at him with this "how dare you??" attitude and tearing down the idgaf persona he's spent years building. with all this tension, imagine them sparring together? and it's just an explosion of weapons-fighting and verbal lashings, way too charged by all the anger that's built up between them
kallas & van: i love this idea a lot simply because kallas would not care about being mocked, but he'd be so flattered by someone else stepping in for him HAHA. i can see kal entertaining a lot of van's antics, especially if he's getting into trouble around the camp. the way i can just envision some kind of scene with them, and van's sneaking out late at night to go do something, and kallas either happens to be walking nearby or perched on the rooftop of the selene cabin, and he spots van immediately. "i'll keep your secret, don't worry! but remember, the moon sees all," in his trademark sing-songy voice. they'd be such an unlikely duo, i need to see it so bad

lottie & van: NOOO, because I love this!!!?? I can totally picture her trying way too hard, and Van just hitting her with the classic ‘get lost, kid’—but then secretly peeking over his shoulder to make sure she’s okay?!? UGH, such a big brother move, and I’m obsessed.
erina & van:LMFAOO that meme is literally them and I love it sooo much!! And the fact that no one else has even tried before because she’s too intimidating?? UGH, peak dynamic. Also, them sparring?? Absolutely unhinged. Weapons clashing, insults flying, neither of them admitting how much they actually respect each other—chef’s kiss.

lottie & van: CALLING HER 'KID' TOO HAHAHAHA. a total reluctant big brother move. just need him to ruffle her hair at one point and the dynamic is perfect. god, every time he tells her to go away, she just does that little step away from him, probably saying something like, "oh, okay, yeah. maybe next time? sorry van, i'll just leave." so painfully shy awe
erina & van: she has all that strength and power, and it's left her feeling lonely!! and now the one person who actually sees her happens to get on her nerves HAHA. GOD YES it's perfect!! oh to be a fly on a wall during that fight

I love all of these dynamics so far!! kallas & van though.... ooof, if only he was bisexual, I would love to see them end up together, but I will be rooting for them behind the scenes! Is there anything else you'd like to discuss about these collabs? Do you have any specific plot ideas? I also have aris made now, so if you wanna do anything with her, I'm open!

erina & aris: these two badass girlies! i was thinking erina can have some kind of mentor-type relationship with aris, particularly with combat. i think eri would find that aris needs to toughen up, especially if they ever sparred together and aris was apologizing the entire time HAHAHAHA. i can just see them training together regularly, and though erina doesn't completely open up around aris, she tolerates her more than most
xochitl & aris: i NEED these two to be best friends. xochitl hanging around the ares cabin and working on her jewelry while aris is baking?? blasting disney songs when they're together?? xochitl's always trying her best to boost aris's confidence, and she's quick to swoop in and defend aris whenever she starts to shy away from specific settings or conversations

erina & aris: this is sooo cute! I love the idea of Erina being a mentor figure for her and trying and toughen her up like the girl cries over slipt milk she needs a tough baddie she can look up to and I feel like Erina would be perfect for that role!
xochitl & aris: This is so wholesome and I'm here for it! how long has Xochitl been at camp? Do you think they would have hit it off the first time they met? Or do you think it would have gradually turned into a friendship?

after thinking about it, i feel like the most interesting person for that would be erina?? only because, for kallas, he would be mostly unfazed by the entire ordeal? maybe show a little concern if van is injured, but his reaction to the underground fighting wouldn't be as fun to portray, and i doubt he'd ever want to go back to that place. lottie being there would only cause trouble for van because he'd have to worry about protecting her, and she'd be terrified about being there in the first place. but ERINA!! she probably followed him there with the intent of catching him doing something worthy of getting him in trouble with chiron, only to realize his fighting is better off remaining a secret. it'd be even worse if van is losing this particular fight, and before she realizes what she's doing, erina is getting into the ring to protect him from being severely injured, maybe even fighting back too?? IDK, lmk what you think!!
erina & aris: HAHAHAHA YES. lots of tough love from eri's end, lots of frustration when she notices aris starting to crumble a bit and be overcome by emotions. she sees a lot of potential in aris, especially as a daughter of ares, so she wants to see aris at her best. and i think eventually, she'd find aris's views on combat and the philosophy of what makes it necessary really interesting! especially since erina's only ever known combat and training
xochitl & aris xochitl's been at camp since she was twelve, so nine years ago! she's twenty-one now!! xochitl makes friends so easily, that i can definitely see them basically hitting it off from the moment they met

YES. We have to make this happen! I love the idea of Erina jumping into the ring like, “I got you!” while Van is just standing there like, "What the fuck are you doing here?!" 😂 That would add so much to their dynamic, and honestly, I’d love to actually write that scene out if you’re down!
Erina & Aris: I love this! It would be so fun if they first met during a game of Capture the Flag or something. Like, Aris is supposed to be guarding the flag, but when Erina shows up, she just hands it over? LMFAO. I can totally see Erina being like, “Really, kid?” but also recognizing the potential in her and deciding to take her under her wing.
Xochitl & Aris: Perfect! I feel like they would’ve clicked immediately. I can totally picture them hanging out by a campfire, swapping stories, and just vibing—instant besties from day one.

HAHA YEAH EXACTLY THAT. and afterward, he's getting the scolding of a lifetime. "what are you doing here? this is your way of making money? are you fucking stupid?" but oddly enough, the fighting might just excite her?? putting all her years of training into use?? definitely need to write this out at some point!!
erina & aris: HAHAHAHAHA STOP THAT WOULD'VE BEEN SO FUNNY. aris doesn't even put up a fight, just lets erina take the win. she would've been agitated that it was such an easy win because she always has to put 110% effort into everything she does. but i can definitely see it capturing erina's attention, and she'd feel inclined to take aris under her wing
