Jon smiled a bit as shadows rose up behind her, gently tapping her on her shoulder

Jacey blinked and whirled around, her sword up.
Jacey looked around for a minute, annoyed. "Hello? Somewhere there?" When no one responded she groaned and turned back around but ready to turn around if someone taps her shoulder again.
She cursed and turned quickly, looking at her foot.
Nothing was there. Jon smiled to himself
She stomped, getting annoyed. "Who's there?! Come out come out wherever you are!" She carefully scanned the shadows.
Jacey's eyes caught on Jon but she kept looking, as if she didn't see him.
WHat is her godly parent?))Jon scowled, it was obvious she had with the way her eyes widened
(athena)Jacey shrugged and cracked her knuckles as she glanced back at the dummy, keeping the other guy at the corner of her eye.
0-0 oh))Jon sighed, knowing it was only a matter of time before she confronted him
(lol what? 👀)As she stabbed the dummy with her sword, she called out,"I kno you're there, dude. You can come out."
Not important rn))"But I don't want to," he replied, "It's nice and comfortable here."
(ooook lmfao)She raised an eyebrow at him as she stabbed the dummy right where it's heart would be. "Is it now?"
"Yes, it is." he smiled, his chilly voice carrying over
She rolled her eyes and groaned as she wandered closer to him, dropping her sword onto a rack.
"can I help you?" he asked as she got closer
She crossed her arms. "Why are you just...standing there?"
She narrowed her eyes at him. "Who even are you? I don't think I've seen you around."
"That must mean I'm doing good," he smiled
"You don't like being seen or something?" She raised an eyebrow.
"A child of Erebus should never be seen," he said, smirking
"Child of Erebus huh? That's interesting. Well, looks like you failed the minute I saw you." She smirked back at him.
"I never failed," he smiled and suddenly he disappeared. Laughing could be heard from behind her in the opposite corner of the arena
She turned around towards the sound of his laughter and yelled,"Really!? Shadow Travelling?"
"No," he said, smirking, "That was never me, can you be sure I'm the real one?"
She blinked. "What do you mean? Can you....can you like control the Mist or something?" She frowned.
"I can control shadows mainly, but yes." he smiled. Suddenly she was surrounded by him
She froze and her jaw dropped. "Woah. That's...that's amazing!" She grinned as her mind raced.
All of the shadows collapsed, revealing Jon standing to her left, a big smile on his face. His little white shadow sniffed her leg curiously.
"So. Is this the real you?" Her eyebrows furrowed. Then she looked down at the white shadow and smiled slightly.
"Maybe, or maybe not." he chuckled. Ghost cocked his head, confused by her scent
She frowned. "Ok...Your little pet's cute."
"That's Ghost, I would say you can pet him but you're more likely to stick your hand straight through him. He wouldn't like that."
She held back a laugh and knelt next to Ghost. "Hi Ghost. Aren't you adorable?" She grinned.
Ghost licked her face. It felt as if a coldness gently brushed her cheek
She laughed and stood. "Well. I'm supposed to be training so..."
She raised an eyebrow, grabbing a sword. "How good are you?"
"Better than you," he said, smiling boldly. He grasped at a shadow, making it into a sword
"Hmmm. Never underestimate a child of Athena." She rolled her wrists, adjusting to the sword.
Jon suddenly plunged the arena in darkness, laughing slowly. Jacey could feel the cold like an ice cube, going down her entire body. "Try and fight what you can't see." his voice taunted from behind her
Jacey clenched her jaw and held up her sword, spinning around in a circle, trying to adjust to the darkness. She can't trust her eyes. She'll just have to rely on her other senses. She closed her eyes and focused, trying to notice every detail.
A small clink came from her left, or maybe it was her right? The darkness seemed to make things echo
She slashed her sword on her left and whirled around and did the same on the right. She strained to hear something. "Why're you hiding? Afraid you're not good enough?"
"I'm not hiding," he whispered from behind, shoving her forwards
She yelped as she quickly caught her footing. "Yes you are! Or else why would be in the dark, where you can function better in?" She heard something else behind her and she lunged towards the sound, stabbing her sword exactly here she heard the sound.
