Violetta stood next to the stall holding Zephyr, her favorite Pegasus. She held out a brush, gently gliding it along his white-ish blue fur. Cleaning him reminded her of home, and felt comforting when the pressures of her parenthood weighed down on her.

Zephyr nickered and nudged her neck with his wet nose, making her laugh. "Stop whining in your head. It's annoying."

Violetta rolled her eyes. "Why was I cursed to hear how sarcastic Pegasi were?"

"You know you love me. Now keep brushing." Zephyr said.

While he was a sarcastic, arrogant little beast, he was probably the closest thing she had to a friend here, which was kind of sad now that she thought about it.

"Be grateful, human, that I even grace you with my presence." Zephyr snorted.

"Whatever. Be glad I'm brushing you, horse." Violetta smirked, knowing he hated that.

Zephyr turned his head away. "Be quiet weakling. At least I can fly."

"Well, I have thumbs." Violetta remarked.

"Brush, don't patronize me, human." Zephyr said, sticking his nose it the air.

Violetta rolled her eyes, but started to brush him once more. She was so focused on the rhytmatic pulse, she didn't notice the person who walked in.

Asher looked at the person and was curious about why she was talking to her Pegasi. He was looking for his Pegasi and lightly humming a tune. He was looking at his horse and smiled at her as she rolled her eyes at Asher. What do you want son of Ares? she asked as Asher was looking at her care kit that he had in her stable, "Any friends yet?" he asked his Pegasi, she turned her head and was a bit confused What do you mean son of Ares? she asked as she looked at him, "Oh right you don't have feelings" he said as he looked at her.

(Z, i know that this isnt a Semi-Advanced RP, but your partner did do a lot of sentences. I feel like you should add more to your response, just enough for Kennedy to bounce off of. 2 sentences are not enough for the effort she put. Its fine for now, but keep this in mind)

Violetta ignored Zephyr's latest insult as she turned to see who had just walked in. The person was a tall boy around her age, with dirty blonde hair.

"Humans." Zephyr snorted. "Always busy staring at each other."

Violetta felt her face flush. "Pegasi aren't any better. Always strutting about, trying to look the prettiest."

Zephyr rolled his eyes. "I am by far the prettiest Pegasus here."

Violetta leaned in, whispering. "I know. Just don't get too cocky."

Zephyr snorted. "Too late, human."

Violetta laughed, loudly enough that it rang out.

Asher heard Violetta laugh as he looked at her Pegasi looked at Asher and then at who he was staring at. Son of Ares who is that? Asher looked at her "What? You do it all the time just by strutting around here" he said as he was still looking at Violetta, Asher was stunned by her in some way. His Pegasi was stunned that Asher was even looking for a relationship.

Violetta paused after she laughed, feeling slightly embarrassed by how loud it was. She got the strange feeling someone was watching her, and when she turned her head, she noticed it was the blonde boy who had walked in recently. Violetta felt herself blush, as she whipped her head back in Zephyr's direction.

"That human is watching you." Zephyr noted, being very helpful.

Violetta rolled her eyes. "I'm sure he isn't."

"He hasn't looked away yet, so I'm not sure what else he would be doing, silly human." Zephyr snorted at her flushed face.

Sure enough, when Violetta turned around, he was still looking in her direction, though he'd situated himself by his horse to make it more... subtle, although it wasn't, really.

"Um..." Violetta said, "Zephyr, what should I do?"

"Zeus knows I don't have any experience with humans and their mating rituals." Zephyr said, rolling his eyes.

"Hush, Zephyr!" Violetta hissed. "It's not mating. It's dating. We've been over this."

"It's not as if he can hear me. Only you and your siblings can. Thank your father for me, will you?" Zephyr said sarcastically.

"It's not as if he did me any favors." Violetta rolled her eyes.

Asher looked at his Pegasi, who was strutting around her stable. "Oh! What's your problem, pretty pink Pegasi?" he asked as she looked at him and pouted at him. "Oh My Gods, why so dramatic?" he asked as she looked at him and then at her brush. "You want to get groomed you big baby?" he asked as he started grooming her and was humming a delightful tune. Why must you hum a song everytime!? she said as she looked at him.

Violetta heard a soft song being hummed, and turned to find it's source. The boy. He was brushing his Pegasus, who seemed a little annoyed.

"Perhaps you should go fix the boy." Zephyr said.

"What does that even mean, Zephyr?" Violetta asked, feeling slightly exasperated.

"He's supposed to be serving her. By singing, he ruins that." Zephyr nickered.

"Oh, sure. " Violetta rolled her eyes.

"Go fix him." Zephyr snorted, turning away from Violetta.

"Quit trying to play matchmaker. You're a horse." Violetta snapped.

"Oh, now you've really done it. Go fix him and yourself before you try to brush me again." Zephyr turned up his nose, walking away.

"Stupid horse." She muttered under her breath, as she walked over to the boy.

"Hello." She said, holding her hand out to him.

Asher was brushing his horse when he heard the girl behind him, "Oh, Hey!" he said as he put the brush down and his horse was not happy. Thanks for the interruption lady he smiled at her as she looked back at the girl and shook her hand. "Hi um...I didn't get your name?"

Violetta grinned. "I'm Violetta. Seems your Pegasus here isn't too happy with me. Sorry about the interruption," She said, turning to the pink Pegasus. "You can blame Zephyr."

She turned back to the boy, still smiling. "What's your name? And sorry about bothering you... I wouldn't, but my horse seems to think your brushing skills are inferior."

He looked back at her, "Oh! It's Asher, and uh, this is how she likes it and that was how I was taught. So your horse doesn't know everybody's technique" he said as he looked and shrugged and looked at his own horse, "That was her massage time"

"Hmmm," Violetta said as she tapped her chin. "Maybe I should take tips."

She began to circle around the Pegasus, inspecting her. Violetta nodded in satisfaction. "Seems you take good care of her. Anyone who can keep their Pegasus healthy is usually someone I can get along with."

"Yeah my dad taught me as I was raised on a farm, all because my mom is Athena. the manure smell scared the monster away for awhile." he said as smile at Violetta

Violetta laughed. "Clever. Manure a day, keeps the monsters away."

She walked over to Zephyr, and dragged him over.

"See, Zephyr?" Violetta asked. "His Pegasus is fine."

Zephyr snorted. "Perhaps it was never about the Pegasus."

Violetta rolled her eyes, then introduced Zephyr to Asher. "This is my friend, Zephyr. Don't get too close, he bites."

Asher smiled brightly and waved at Zephyr. "You have a stern pegasus Violetta" he said as he looked at her.

"There's nothing truer that's ever been said." Violetta said, grinning at Asher. "But, I love him. He's a good friend."

"pegusi do make good friends" he said as his father always told him about them when he heard the monster near. Asher had a heartfelt smile on his face.

Violetta smiled back, feeling her cheeks flush slightly. "They really do. Although... I hear humans aren't half bad either."

Asher saw her flushed cheeks as he smiled. "Yeah...humans aren't that bad, but even my Pegasus judges people" he said

Violetta laughed. "I think Pegasi are the worst with people. Zephyr hated me for about six months before he would finally let me even brush him. And he gave me a two hour long lecture on it."

"Well, I had her since I was a baby. I think, I was riding her at a young age" he said as he smiled half-heartedly and looked at Zephyr, "Now he might be tough to please though" he said as he looked at Violetta. "I can tell"

"Oh, he certainly is. Did you grow up around Camp Half-Blood then? Or knew you were a demi-god from a young age?" Violetta asked, moving a little closer to Asher.

Asher looked at her, "Kinda..." he blurted it out. "She was a gift from my mom."

"Your mom?" Violetta asked. "Goddess or mortal?"

"Goddess, Athena" he said as he looked at his pegasi and gave Violetta a smile.

"Hmmm, Athena." Violetta said. "Seems we're destined not to work out well. Or work out really well. My dad's Poseidon. I mean, they don't get along, but Percy and Annabeth sure seem too." Violetta shrugged, being a little flirty.

Asher looked at Violetta, "Do you want to go on a date then?" he asked "To see if we work out?"

Violetta blushed. "A little forward huh? But... why not?" Violetta grinned at Asher. "What do you want to do?"

Asher smiled and looked around, "Wanna go on a picnic?" he asked her as he looked at his pegasi

Violetta laughed, a bright, happy sound. "I'd love to. But I want to bring the desert."

"Then i'll bring the entree!" he says as he smiled brightly at her. "I love your laugh"

[oh shh... Asher is son of Ares]

Violetta blushed. "Thanks." She grinned. "I love your smile."

"You do? Most people don't" he said as he looked at her.

Violetta snorted, then added, "Wait, you're being serious?"

Asher looked at her and slowly nodded, "Yeah..."

Violetta shrugged. "I guess they're missing out then. Lucky for me." She grinned at him.

Asher smiled at her, "I guess they are, thank you Violetta" he said as no said that to him before.

"No problem. So, meet back up in an hour for our picnic?" Violetta asked.

Asher looked at her and smiled, "Of course" he said as he was finishing up what he was doing.

"Great!" Violetta jogged out of the stables, up to her cabin to change and to bake her mom's famouse Yakgwa, which were delicious honey cakes. She changed into a blue off the shoulders dress, and did her hair half up in a messy bun. Afterwards, she began to bake, and when it was done she hurried back to the stables to wait for Asher.

Asher had made his favorite finger sandwiches. He liked that they were so easy to make. He was walking to the stables where they agreed to meet again. He had a smile on his face as he walked in and saw Violetta.

"Hey Asher! Nothing will prepare you for what I have brought you." Violetta grinned.

"Not even my famous finger sandwiches?" he asked as he had a smile on his face. "What did you bring?"

"Yakgwa. It's a Korean honey cake, my mom's recipe." Violetta smiled.

"Is it good?" Asher asked as he smiled at her.
