Hey all, I'm Randal Murphey, author of the Fables of Laknohl series. Here's my first book, but I am looking for Beta readers for my second book. I'll be giving a PDF of the first book (for those who have not yet read it) as well as a PDF of the second book. All I am asking in return is for an honest Amazon review when the second book comes out on October 25th this year.
The book series is a young adult fantasy series about a foster teen who gets in trouble and runs away, stumbling into a fairy tale world. He meets a wide cast of characters, and is told he is the only person who can help stop an evil shadow lord from returning to power.

Hi everyone! 👋
My mythological fantasy Relics of the Trinity series now has a free prequel available on Amazon (permafree). It’s a fast-paced story where Greek, Norse, and Egyptian gods collide.
If you’d like to check it out and leave an honest review, here’s the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FM4D824N🙏

Someone in the palace has caused the attention of foreigners to be drawn to Kendi. Assassins are now crawling all over the kingdom, looking for weaknesses in their defences. They have discovered Kendi's secret and will surely return with thousands more men, if they escape the clutches of the mountain kingdom.
The prince is a blade wildered with an iron will by head the palace guard, his uncle. With the immediate threat seemingly over, they must all find out, how much damage had been done to their lives. The next attack may entrap other kingdoms as well as a princess, who might become a pawn of the enemy.
Kendi must face this new world. The prince must become more than a commander, and the man must be more than a blade.

MY NEW NOVEL RELEASED IN SEPTEMBER 2025
Songs of the Vanished Griot: An African Historical Fantasy of Hidden Secrets and Haunting Songs is a standalone novel that bridges past and present, myth and memory, history and haunting.
In pre-colonial Kano, the city’s power did not rest only with kings and warriors—but also with the griots, keepers of history whose songs could crown leaders or cast them into ruin.
When Bawa Maisango rises to become the Sarkin Wanzamai—leader of the barbers’ guild—his appointment hides a dangerous truth: a secret verse preserved by the griot Alu Tamashe. A verse that should never have been sung.
But rival contender Ibrahim Mai’aska will stop at nothing to expose Bawa. When blackmail and betrayal fail, he turns to mystical forces—only to awaken a curse that spans centuries.
Generations later, in 2010, a PhD student researching Hausa oral traditions uncovers the long-forgotten manuscript in Ajami script. What begins as an academic curiosity soon unravels into a haunting obsession. The griot’s voice still echoes. Old wounds reopen. And a feud once thought buried threatens to ignite once more.
Why Readers Will Love This Book
• A sweeping African historical fantasy blending oral tradition, politics, and supernatural intrigue.
• A haunting mystery where songs themselves carry curses and ghosts refuse to stay silent.
• Rich worldbuilding that brings to life Hausa guild traditions, pre-colonial Kano, and the clash of legacy vs. justice.
• Perfect for fans of Nnedi Okorafor, Deborah Harkness, and Tomi Adeyemi.
Step into a world where one song can change the fate of generations.

Trigunaya - The Awakening: The First Echo in the War for Balance
Three forces shape existence — Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas. Light, fire, and shadow. Balance is fragile, and when it breaks, reality itself begins to fracture.
Trigunaya is not just mythology retold. It blends myth and sci-fi, dream and waking, timelines and multiverses — all set against a shifting, dystopian backdrop. At its heart, it follows Neela, a girl drawn into an ancient struggle where silence holds as much power as gods or machines.
Threads you’ll find:
Myth reimagined through a sci-fi lens
A glyphic language and symbols that shape reality
Dream vs. reality blurring until both feel unstable
Dystopian echoes in a timeless conflict
A heroine caught between clarity, storm, and shadow
If you’re drawn to stories that merge myth with science, the surreal with the futuristic, you might hear something humming beneath the page here.
