I am looking for more gay books to read, I'm open to any type as I usually look it up to see if it is something I'm interested in reading so comment your favorites below or any you think would be good to read.

Have you read any of Emmy Sanders's books?

I recommend To Catch a Firefly (standalone novel), which features two MMCs that grow up in a small town (one MMC stays in the town, the other ends up traveling a lot for work), childhood best friends to lovers, sooo much pining, dual POV. The MMC that stays in the town to live & work is neurodivergent (selective mutism).

She also has book series like the Plum Valley Cowboys, which has a variety of tropes and themes for each couple that falls in love. The first book, Fool Hearts, is the most popular and a slow burn (TCaF may be more medium burn actually) best friends to lovers romance like TCaF.

Its pretty popular so you might have already read it but the Song of Achilles is great. The characters and amazing and the writing is good, the end is kind of sad but it does not leave you feeling like it should have ended and differently. I really love it and for some reason its really easy to read? Like it just flys by, you can read it in a day if you have the time.

Take My Hand by Dolen Perkins Valdez. And the Fault in Our Stars by John Green, if you haven't already.

it just came out but I absolutely love The Hollow and the Haunted, it's one of my fave reads this year!
