Book #3
After the Funeral / Agatha Christie
Read 07/30/2025
If I have read this previously, which I'm sure I must have, I didn't remember the story so it was like a new adventure and worth nothing less than 5 stars.

This is a very good mystery."
Added for you Amanda! I've already read this one & remember a little about it but still want to re-read. I can get it on Spotify, but would rather have a physical or kindle copy for murder mysteries.

Book 14, The Unbearable Bassington by Saki, 4 stars
I enjoyed my first Saki novel, beautiful prose, snarky, sharp, almost bitter commentary on Edwardian London society with a sad but predictable ending. Here’s a link to my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Book 15, The Art School Murders, by Moray Dalton, 4 stars
I have read and enjoyed this GA mystery writer before, and enjoyed this outing set during WWII. Here’s a link to my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

No I must have missed it. Sorry about that, I've added it now. :)

Like Cphe, this was my first read by Whipple - a delightful, satisfying 5-stars; I loved Jane as a heroine, her struggles, successes, first brushes with love - it was a great old-fashioned coming-of-age story.

Thanks, Jackie, I hope you enjoy it.

Hi Susan
Have you definitely read 16 books?
Looks like I'll have to check through the posts after I've had a coffee!
