I got the book for my birthday and while i heard about it due to being popular, i dont know if it's something I'd be interested in.

Especially book 2

I read the first one. It is a bit hard to get into the story at first for me to be honest I didn't feel it was worth it that much but I bought the rest of the series before I read the first book sooo I am just forced to read the whole thing.

i honestly felt that it was pretty low spice and worth the read. there’s only one spicy scene in the first book and it’s at the very end. the plot is really solid, and it gets even better in the second and third books. i totally recommend <3

it's worth the hype in there is one spicy it gets a little spicier throughout the series. the only book which is really spicy is the last book

the first acotar is not spicy really, there's only like one spice scene and some kissing. The second book is pretty spicy but the plot is kinda better than the first book so I guess it depends on what you're comfortable with. there was a bit too much spice for me in the second book but I still enjoyed it >3

honestly, i didnt like it. the smut wasnt really there, and it was kind of iffy. like, there are moments where it comes off as noncon (nothing sexual happens but it seems like it might) where feyre tells tamlin to get off her, but later its just brushed under the rug because she later thinks it was kinda hot or something. SPOILERS HERE feyre gets a new love interest in the second book. i dont remmeber his name and i dont care to. hes honestly disgusting in the first book. he basically treats feyre as his sex slave. at one point he licks the tears off her face. he makes her dance until she throws up and then makes her keep dancing. he basically forces her to strip naked in front of a crowd. its actually disgusting. later he tells her the nly reason he didnt "have his way with her" was because tamlin wouldnt have helped him later. SERIOUSLY??? it actually makes me so mad. i might be remembering things wrong though. been a while since i read it. of course no hate if you do love it !! hot girls dont hate on other hot girls <3 these are just my probably time-warped opinions

I don't think that I would say the first book had a lot of smut. It's a lot of world building and tension building between the characters. Limited spice.

i read it when it first came out and did not like it at all lol but i was 14 and not overly offended by the smut so it mustntve been that bad

The first one is hard to get through for most but I found it really good and the second one has a bit of smut but the first one doesn’t!
