Alicia Moore | 2 comments I am wanting to buy my special needs nephew the fourth wing series since I think he would enjoy it. He is 25 but he does have special needs. He recently has read the Twisted series by Ana Huang and well those books are very spicy and my sister was not very happy about him reading it. I have personally read fourth wing, but found the spice to be lower to mid. What are your thoughts on the spice level for fourth wing. It could be tame to me because I do enjoy dark romance with high spice on occasion.

Fourth Wing is less spicy then the twisted series. It has more plot and world building. I guess it depends on her level of spicy because to me, I thing the book is fine for anyone 16+ to read.

Maybe ask her? Tell her the book is about and how there is spicy but it is not as much as the twisted series or rough.

Milla (active on week days) | 72 comments Fourth Wing is not too bad there are some scenes, but it is not what the whole book is about. There is like 2.5 scenes.

Scout (shouta aizawa’s version) ੈ✩‧₊˚ | 781 comments The spice in the first book is pretty mild (like a 🌶️🌶️/5 for me) but it depends on how comfy he is with that

Ri (anergia) | 177 comments To add to what others have already said, if you don’t know about Romance.io, please check it out regarding spice levels. The website is maintained and owned by one person, so a lot of the info is user submitted and contributed as well.

But most popular books and series will have the different themes, tropes, & spice levels listed on the site. Then you can be informed before you buy or borrow a book to read. Hope that helps too.

thank you! I did not know about that site! I however disagree with their spice level for that book. I guess I am more conflicted because some think it is very spicy, but i find it tame. Only two open door scenes at the end of the book really.

annabelle | 622 comments I haven't personally read it, but if he's read twisted then it's way lower from that (from what i've heard). but then again it depends what he/ your sister is comfortable with him reading
