I've got mixed feelings about whether to re-read this! When I read it the first time I loved it so much that I was disappointed that the next book hadn't been published yet. Book two is out now, but book three has remained in limbo for many years (my understanding is that Patrick Rothfuss has been struggling with some mental health issues and has been unable to finish the book) and I think I want to wait for it to be published before diving in again!

Well, I have not read this & I own the sequel, but since I discovered that the 3rd book of this planned trilogy has yet to materialize (and it’s been, what, 13+ years since book 2), I have decided not to read it. I told myself many years ago I would no longer start reading series that are unfinished, so I’m putting this back on the shelf until another time.

Katy (kathy_h) | 16 comments I recently reread this one and book 2. I may or may not join in - like Shel, I'm hoping for a book 3.

Me too.

Leserling Belana (vorleser) | 105 comments I only recently re-read this book and the sequel, and I was as enchanted by them as I had been the first time around. I have given up hope for a third book, but to those of you who don't want to read the book because the series isn't finished, I suggest to take the plunge. The books are just soooo good, you really miss out if you don't read them.
