The content warnings are making me cringe a bit, is it really super dark?

Good question. I have read some reviews and they are all over the place, but I have never read this author. So hopfully someone who has rea it can give you an answer.

Well you left a really enlightening review. Thank you. I think that I will give this one a shot. I obviously like dark, which you can tell by looking at the books I have read and want to read, and I don't really have a lot of triggers, but I do need an HEA or HFN ending. And I am finding that I also need some kind of redeeming factor in the MMC. I didn't use to need that, but then life happens, and reading becomes that escape from reality with an ending that keeps you in the game. So thanks again. Glad you enjoyed the book and posted here so I could read your review.
