Okay, so Slipknot is a heavy/nu metal band from Des Moines, Iowa, founded in 1995 by Shawn Crahan, Paul Gray, Joey Jordison and Anders Colsefni. Their debut album Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat released on Halloween, 1996, the album mostly contaning tracks that were death metal. Their first album didn't get that much attention at the time. Colsefni left along with Mistery Guy, and the final lignup consisted of Corey Taylor as singer, Paul Gray as bassist, Joey Jordison on drums, Chris Fehn as a percussionist, Sid Wilson as DJ, Craig "133" Jones as the sampler and keyboardist, Shawn "Clown" Crahan as another percussionist, Jim Root on guitar and Mick Thomson on guitar as well. They released their debut as a self-titled album in 1999, and it immediatley became massively succesful. They released three more albums, Iowa (2001), Vol. 3 The Subliminal Verses (2005) and All Hope Is Gone (2009). Paul Gray passed away in 2010 at a hotel room due to overdose. Joey Jordison was kicked out of the band for back then, unkown reasons, and in 2014 they released their fifth album, .5 The Gray Chapter, where there were two unidentified individuals on drums and bass. After that they went on a long hiatus, up until 2019 when they released their sixth album We Are Not Your Kind, where it was revealed that the drummer's name is Jay Weinberg. Weinberg stayed with the Knot for the next 9 years until he was kicked out in 2023. Clown promised to release a series of recordings they did back in the All Hope Is Gone era that were never released to the public, after threats from guitarist Jim Root to quit the band if they weren't released. In 2019, the band released their sixth album, We Are Not Your Kind. Fehn got kicked out of the band after suing Slipknot due to payment issues. He got replaced by a mistery dude whom the fans dubbed 'Tortilla Man'. It was then speculated wether Tortilla Man was actually Michael Pfaff, a guy whom had had some interaction with Slipknot in the past, and shortly after it was revealed that these speculations were indeed true. In 2021, Joey Jordison was found dead in his sleep due to a disease called Transvere Myelitis, and it was revealed that that was one of the reasons he got kicked out of the band. In 2022, the band released their seventh album (eigth if we're counted MFKR), The End, So Far, which received a lot of hate due to it being slower than other albums and with a lot less effort put into it. Weinberg was kicked out of the band the year after and was replaced by former Sepultura drummer, Eloy Casagrande, just in time for the 25th anniversary tour.

I love basically any music (depends on meh mood and/or WHO I wan' listen to). I also love "Dance Gavin Dance" "elijah (he is a rock artist)" "Two Door Cinema Club" and a few other of my favorite rock bands. My fav song from elijah is "Harder To Lie" and I hope u listen to it! I love Street Style as my aesthetic and I also listen to Kendrick Lamar & Eminem ofc
