Socially awkward and seems a bit paranoid, but being socially awkward myself I relate to Chase. It's gotta be hard to think everyone has it out for you.
Now granted Max did, but he wasn't doing it as a joke and James was just trying to make a conversation, but the way he assumes it's to make fun of him kinda hurt my heart a bit.
It'll be interesting to see how they connect since in the first two chapters I'm not seeing the connection at all.

Chapter 4: This is bad. I can't believe Max did this and its gonna come back to bite him...I can just tell.
I like that we get to find out more about Chase and hope soon we can find out more about Max.

Chapter 6:
Oh. Things were going so well. That's part of the problem when you only hear part of the conversation. He'd have known Toby was a dog, not a person.

Ugh. Miscommunication...or should I say no communication. I know its hard to admit to anxiety with people you don't know, but I wish there was a way he could have at least told Amica. She seems like a nice person and considers Chase a friend.

And honestly, I’m not a fan of prank wars/bets and the inevitable miscommunication leading to love.
I'm at 85%. I can ignore the clunky writing cause I'm loving Max and how he treats Chase. There are some issues for sure, but as i'm moving on I see his growth. I'm also seeing it with Chase.
Maybe I can ignore the clunky writing and grammar errors (cause I did see a few) since it's not my profession. :)
Chapter 18 had some interactions with Ben and Sean so it will be interesting to see how their story plays out. Interoffice relationships are forbidden, so.....
PS. I probably won't start #2 until tomorrow I have to squeeze in a short TART Book next.

All done.
Now I'm confused. At the end it says Message Received is a Prequel to Talk to Me, but its #2.

I thought this wrapped up a little too neatly, and they fell in love pretty quickly. And I'm not convinced he got much closure with Chase? Oh well--on the next (and I'm hoping that because it's later it will be better, but the reviews aren't great).
It'll be a minute before I start, because I am going to read something else first, and I'm not sure what, yet. But I'll start by Wednesday for sure, prolly late tomorrow.
Or, you know, I just finished it (!)
I'll just do what I did with this one...or do you want me to use spoiler tags if I start tomorrow?

Were you not bugged by the hair sex? I have had really long hair, and I would NEVER do that.

I kinda skimmed those places so I don't remember all the details. I vaguely remember trying to figure out how that would work. LOL. :)
