I couldn't agree more.
I want to add that trump also wants to end birthright citizenship and make a law that if 1 or more of your parents weren't citizens at the time of your birth then he can revoke your citizenship. That's scary to me because I don't think my parents weren't citizens when I was born. And even if they were a lot of my parents' friends and my friend's parents weren't citizens when they had kids. And it hurts a little bit too because my dad voted trump this year, and he didn't know about this. I don't know if he would've voted differently because he's quite right-leaning, but still.
Another thing that puzzles me is that women and feminists voted for trump. Trump is known for calling his daughter beautiful in a sexual way and talking about what it would be like to have s3x with her. I also read this article written by this woman who worked with trump in his last presidency and said that it was a very unsafe environment for the women there. trump would like call them honey and sweetheart and critique their makeup and outfits. im not even paraphrasing at this point, this is literally exactly what she wrote.
and he keeps on chittering about the economy......but his mass deportation plan will literally crash the us economy.

Here's a short video explaining some parts of Project 2025 too. It doesn't explain absolutely everything. I tried to find one that wasn't biased.

You cannot treat this issue as an afterthought because you are more sympathetic to people you more identify with and expect me to take you seriously. This is Fascism 101 and you're failing if you don't put the threat to migrants front and center. I watched liberals and leftists make that same mistake during Trump's first admin because it wasn't an issue directly affecting them, I watched how Trump enflamed xenophobia and racism toward Latinos, I watched ICE abuse and torture vulnerable people and tear children from their parents by the order of Trump's admin, I watched Trump erect a goddam concentration camp for children in my county, and I watched my city be targeted by a mass shooter as result. Most of the framework Trump put in place to detain and deport people remained in place throughout Biden because people didn't care, so Biden didn't have to deal with it. In fact, he used it to deport a hell of a lot of people under his admin. Now Trump gets that framework back more or less intact and has been very vocal about what his priorities are.
Yes I'm scared for all of us, but most of us are still better off than most of these migrants right now. And I say that as low-income queer person with cancer who is looking at the very real possibility of Trump ending my Medicaid cancer care coverage that is literally keeping me alive right now. We need to understand who they are going after first and why that's important to their agenda, and give a shit about the people they want to harm to most, or we're going to be complicit to what happens.
