I came across an author recently that blew me away (Kathleen Haley). I mean I am literally devouring the back catalogue of her works. And it got me thinking, we all come across the same trending books all the time which are awesome I mean they get the hype for a reason.

BUT I want to know what is that 1 book you read this year that was unexpected, unheard of, not talked about and it's still living rent free in your head.

Hitting the Crossbar and Cool for the Summer. And I'm pretty sure Renee Carlino is popular, but her book Swear on This Life is not talked about NEARLY enough.

This a mix between Grey’s Anatomy, The Love Hypothesis & OMEGAVERSE! Surprisingly hilarious read that pulled me in immediately

The Blood and Ash series by Jennifer Armentrout. I NEVER see people talking about this series and it's probably in my top 5 favorite book series.

Not sure if she is a underrated author but A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik I just 💋

Definitely not unknown but completely under hyped, andd my favorite one this year. Picking Daisies on Sundays just did it for me, it was such a cute, simple, fast read, and it got me out of a reading slump. Perfect for spring/early summer. Totally recommend!!💗

Mariana zapata's books needs more hype. I cannot explain how much i love her books. I could re read them over and over tho they're all slowburn

Beauty and the Blade by S.C. Grayson was a really good book. I found the book on instagram and it was soo good.

Reckless Heart by Brighton Walsh. Nothing too crazy but very cute!
