   The rules here are relatively simple, although it may first seem to be a lot.
   We must add them to be sure everyone knows and there’s no confusion,
   but just take a quick look!

   

   • 𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗜𝗖 𝗚𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗣 𝗥𝗨𝗟𝗘𝗦

   𝟬𝟬𝟭⠀Treat other members of the group with kindness and respect. Be
   patient when waiting for responses as well, as we all have lives outside
   of Goodreads. A gentle bump is all that is needed!

   𝟬𝟬𝟮⠀Swearing is allowed, although we ask that you try to keep it to a
   minimum and don’t use offensive language or slurs. If someone requests
   that you stop cursing around them for any reason, please adhere to that
   and be kind.

   𝟬𝟬𝟯⠀Any type of discrimination, with or without intent to hurt someone,
   is absolutely not tolerated. You will be removed immediately if you are in
   violation of this rule.

   𝟬𝟬𝟰⠀Hostility and conflict between members within the group will not be
   tolerated. If anything happens, bring it to a moderator before engaging
   with another member in anger. If there are issues that arise and you do
   not stop, you will be removed.

   𝟬𝟬𝟱⠀A moderator’s final ruling is to be respected and followed, but if you
   have concerns with a decision made, bring it to the moderator team so we
   can discuss it! We are guides, not an absolute force. As such, we are a
   united front on decisions and hold the same standards for ourselves as
   well as members.

   𝟬𝟬𝟲⠀All rules apply to moderators as well, as stated above! We are here
   to maintain order and run the group, but we are just as held to these rules
   as any other members.


   • 𝗥𝗢𝗟𝗘𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬 𝗥𝗨𝗟𝗘𝗦

   𝟬𝟬𝟭⠀Please type in complete sentences with proper grammar and
   punctuation.

   𝟬𝟬𝟮⠀Write at least three sentences in your roleplay response. We need
   you to write enough for your partner to have something solid to respond
   to. Try to include thoughts, actions, and words!

   𝟬𝟬𝟯⠀Your characters should not act with any knowledge or abilities
   beyond what they would realistically know and comprehend. We are
   not tolerating main character or overpowered types of characters.

   𝟬𝟬𝟰⠀Do not make major decisions without consulting your roleplay
   partner, or the moderators if it does not involve another member. Such
   as, do not kill another character without permission from the roleplayer
   or give your character unrealistic powers and abilities without asking first.

   𝟬𝟬𝟱⠀We hope that this rule will be completely unnecessary to include,
   but we want to be clear that we expect all members to personally write
   everything they bring to this group. We do not allow the use of AI to
   supplement your writing.


   • 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗥𝗨𝗟𝗘𝗦

   𝟬𝟬𝟭⠀You may claim as many characters as you can handle.

   𝟬𝟬𝟮⠀If you do not create a character you have claimed within three
   weeks of claiming a role, your claim will be revoked and you will be
   notified.

   𝟬𝟬𝟯⠀We have a general template with the basic information required for
   all characters in all of the creation topics. You must fill them in with the
   proper level of information before submitting a character. You may use
   any template you’d like, but it must have all of the required information.
   At minimum; four sentences for personality, five for history, and two for
   appearance—even with a picture. This is because magic allows characters
   to change or enhance their appearance in any way, which means even
   with art or a face claim, your character should have very unique traits.

   𝟬𝟬𝟰⠀Perhaps a rule you have not seen in groups before, but one we are
   enforcing here, is that we are not allowing AI images. If you are not
   doing this, it does not apply to you. Art is okay, but make sure it is not AI
   generated. This goes for any image in the group, not just for characters.
   The mods have a hard stance against the use of generative AI.
