I'm going to post this here because the collaborations page has been very, erm, used. Spammed. So maybe you guys have stopped checking it. xD
So! Idea! Shadowfog is getting closer and closer to Voxthain, but Asterath is underground and far less worried that it's that bad. Runalithe is stealing magic to save their home, yada yada. This one's for my Asterath Councilor I'm not working on yet until hopefully I get a response to this!
✦ Ceonrei Rin (Asterath Councilor #1)
She's going to be a wild, free-spirited councilor who loves Asterath passionately and will refuse to let her people help against the shadowfog if Voxthain ever asks. She is a loyal person and is always out and about in Asterath helping whoever needs help. My request is maybe a forbidden Councilor romance with a Voxthain Councilor who cares for their people as much as her, but they want to take action against the shadowfog. She does not. That might get her to feel more empathetic for Voxthain and the Runalithe people? Also drama and forbidden or at least, it just doesn't happen. I don't give my characters sexualities unless I see them as aroace or not experiencing attraction. I like all of them being able to experience any romance if they do at all.
So, just let me know!

And she would really want to keep the romance a secret because she is afraid of intimacy in general and anyone finding out she's dating someone again, because it didnt end well for her last time, the only issue is that we'd have to figure out how they got together since shes very prickly lol

With the way Ceonrei is, she would force her way into anyone's good graces 😂😂 But if you're up for that, absolutely! We can think up something. It could be an over time worming her way into Cal's heart, definitely doesn't seem like a short time-frame thing.
@Bella I desperately need to collab with you, but Elizabeth got this one first. Can I go to you directly when I work out something for another character? :D
xd that's fair. And yeah! Can I think about it for a day and get back to you? But yeah I think if we do, short time works, because Cal distrusts people from a getgo, and yet I do want her eventually to end up with someone

wait Rory, so, what did you have in mind if Cal and Ceonrei were together? Like, would it be something where they have ben together for a bit, and if so how long, or are they getting together as the story goes on?

That's fully up to you! I'm so flexible when I put collabs out there so it'd be what you are fully comfortable with using Cal. If you have something that works for Cal's backstory and personality, we can easily go with that. I just wanted that relationship for her so my character could have some in-roleplay character development.

Okay so.
1.) In regards to the collab between Ceonrei and Cal! I’m thinking it would be a really fun idea as I like what you proposed, and I was thinking about how I’d make that work with a character who is very anti-trust-of-people lol.
Because I want to make it work, it sounds like a lot of fun drama.
However they met, it’s possible at first Cal didn’t like Ceonrei because of her more carefree nature, and at first she probably saw her as silly and not serious or taking her job seriously. But maybe like something happened and she saw that Ceonrei was very much someone who cared about the people she helped govern? Or somehow Ceonrei had a crush first and pursued that and somehow they got forced into spending time together? Or both.
I will say, whatever we go with, Cal would have taken awhile to warm up to her, even if she did have a crush on her because she thinks the worst of most people from the get go because of years of abuse and bullying and also is scared of another relationship and getting close to someone again. I guess it’s trying to figure out how they’d make it work/how they’d met (presumably Cogsworks? Given they’re from different cities and keep their relationship a secret?) Or do they keep it secret for other reasons? Like admittedly Cal would be very nervous at least at first in a relationship since her last one ended horribly, but she does want to slowly learn how to love again and let someone love her, even if she pushes most people away. Like she cares so deeply about her people and her mother but when it comes to personal relationships aside from her mom she shuts down or gets cold
So if they have been dating for a few years, how did we want them to get there? (Which would be fine!) Or if they start dating in roleplay, that’ll probably be a slower process but could still work!
And she does very much want to take action against the shadowfog to protect Voxthain so
2.) did you still want to make a sibling for my spider/collab on that? I’m still very down if so! (I know this is the wrong collab topic but it’s fine XD it’s easier this way)

Ezzabee!! I'm so glad you got back to me on this! <3 Okie dokie, jumping right in.
1.) Yeah! We can certainly do in-roleplay build-up to see if the romance progresses naturally. If it feels off, we can keep the collab essence but drop the romance part. I suggested romance because loving someone with that depth feels very powerful but I'm a huge friendship person, too. Maybe some sort of enemies and my character evolving over time because Cal is like . . . how can you not care? And my character slowly realizes woah Asterath is also in danger and even if not, helping others who are not directly in her world is good. So, start with an attempt at Ceonrei gaining Cal's trust and if that goes poorly, we can easily switch gears,
At first, anyone would be like, why is this lady a Councilor??? That's so fair. Asterath has different values when voting for a Councilor, and being creative and carefree are two major parts. Voxthain would dislike that very much. Ceonrei absolutely would have a crush and go for it like, "Hey, we're both Councilors and have duties, yeah yeah, but I like you" to which Cal would likely be displeased with. But to potentially build the relationship, forcing them together would be good.
Talked to Isabella, we have a great idea for this. Each Councilor has a sister councilor, as the cities are sister cities, that they are paired with when the Councils need to collaborate or work together. If my character became a Councilor for Asterath after Cal did it Voxthain, then she would be automatically paired with Cal as Cal's former sister Councilor would've died, stepped down, or whatnot. So now that the shadowfog is a huge threat, the Councils needs to work together and are paired up a lot more than before? Forced to be together!
As for meeting, they'd have met when the Ceonrei became a Councilor. How long has Cal been one? Because I'm planning on making Ceonrei one of the newest, hence her carefree outlook. (Yes, they'd keep it secret. Councilor relationships are rare and nobody would dare because their duty is to their city. If it has happened before, I'd say likely they both stepped down to be together. Secret relationships are tricky and we'll have to keep it that way. Both of our characters would know that they shouldn't be doing it.)
Ceonrei is a very people-person in my eyes. She is a free-spirited goofball but she very much cares and her passion is so intense. Her love, her hate, her desires. Enhanced because she puts her all into everything. There will be boundary on her end. She'll see Cal's resistance and reservations and push past them, hopefully not too far to ruin it all, but her sense of boundaries is weak. So she either will push Cal further away or weasel her way in, we'll see.
I wanted to build up their relationship in roleplay, because I do like slower processes and seeing the characters grow personally and closer together. If not, we can establish it and work something else out.
2.) Yes, I do! (Shhh, it doesn't matter where it is as long as we're understanding the request xD) If you're for sure positive it won't mess with the character you have in your mind, yes! And let me know what dynamic would make sense with your character. With me, I make original characters based on groups and what feels right, so they're subject to change. Yours are pre-made and very well fleshed-out so you let me know. I have zero ideas so far and I'll love whatever works best with your character.

1.) That works for me, playing it by ear is great! We can test their dynamic and such. I am too!! Friendship is so important, so if Cal and Ceonrei end up as close friends I'd not say no to that either, she'd be like, her one close friend xd. I could very much see that, because Cal is the type of person to willingly sacrifice her own life for the innocent people in Voxthain if it came to it, as well as has a deep sense of protection towards children and the people she commands in the military, so she would absolutely be frustrated and horrified at first that Ceonrei isn't interested in helping against the shadowfog. That works!
Gotcha! Yeah, I think even though Cal was not born in Voxthain and hates the nobility and such, she still sees Asterath as too carefree, at least the Councilors, since all she cares about is making sure the people are safe, and she's so hung up on that she fails to see how Ceonrei cares too? And would be angry she doesn't care about the shadowfog or other people as much outside of Asterath. And yes, Cal would avoid her big-time at first when she finds out she likes her, or get cold and irritable lol. And agreed!
OOH. I like that idea a lot actually! And I think she became a councilor like, at 17-18 or like, maybe 4 to 5 years ago. And that could work, maybe Ceonrei's predecessor was someone Cal at least knew how to work with, idk. (sounds good. And that works, I think even if they weren't Councilors, at first Cal would want it to be a secret anyway).
I love that though, she sounds so wholesome and I like her so much already! I think someone like that would be good for Cal (omg grumpy x sunshine trope?!) and force her to have fun sometimes lol. Ah, yes, we shall see, because Cal has walls up, so we'll see how this goes.

2.) Okay yay! (XD) and I am positive, I really don't mind at all, I think it would be fun. And I am okay with any dynamic--my character loves her family, even if they have some familial problems, and her fam is probably the only people she wouldn't harm, you know? Even if they dislike her, she still loves them. And thank you! But I really am open here

I already love Cal so much. 🥺 Ceonrei is going to adore her. I can imagine exasperation with Voxthain Councilors being so uptight, but she would easily come to love Cal for her passionate caring nature and have an “I-can-fix-her” attitude. 😂 I’ll need to start working on reading over characters and checking for originality (I feel like a human AI originality report 😭) as soon as church is over, but this is such a solid layout for me to start her right after. I’ll have her done by today and we can talk about actually starting a role play soon. 🥳🥳
I’ll have Ceonrei becoming a Councilor a couple months before roleplay starts so she and Cal have already met and first impressions have been made, but there’s been no build-up with their relationship or anything. (Grumpy x sunshine!! Oh my gosh it is!!!)

That's very understandable, Cal definitely somewhat has that uptight behavior, like, she would one hundred percent murder someone if they're really terrible to the common people if it came down to it, even another Councilor, but as a whole, she wouldn't understand Asterath's more easygoing nature. And I love that so much XD. And thats okay, take your time, really! I'm here whenever :) And yay! Perfect. They will be such a cute trope lol. Ahhhhh I'm excited!

Hello, everyone. I'm considering a romance for my Voxthain Councilor, Lucien Wyver. He's bi, but I'm thinking a female character. As for dynamics, my ideas are:
1. rivals-to-lovers with another Councilor or if not a Councilor, maybe another noble.
2. an engagement of convenience with another noble. i literally just got this idea while typing, but i really like it :)
3. or possibly something with someone from Asterath. in which case it would prob not start off so great, because he may be just a little prejudiced.also note that I don't do spice.
