Victor has dirty blonde hair brown eyes. He stands at 6 feet and 3 inches, towering over many other people. He's has a muscular build, one a lot more defined then most people because he focuses physique over magic. Victor often dresses in two aesthetics: downtown boy and dark academia.

Personality

Victor is a very active person, and a very loyal one. He only respects the gang and it's long-time members, new ones have to earn his respect. Although, he still will save the newbies lives if they need it. He's quite reactionary in a confrontation, making impulsive decisions that could cause, or will cause chaos. He's resentful, following his abandonment, anyone outside the gang, especially with money, is despised by him.

Victor is a simple person. He doesn't have a life outside the gang. That life had crumbled when the gang found him. His entire life is the gang. He's adapted and changed to be one of the best snakes in the city. He loves to mark buildings and vandalize by spray-painting with a magic paint that can't be removed with magic, just with time. He also loved capturing, injuring, and even killing. Although it may seem heartless, it's one of the biggest parts of his personality and something that many in the gang can't handle. But Viper, he'll laugh as he takes the life of someone.

In common ganglife, Viper only takes order from those higher then him. His respect is only held by those who earn it, and earning his respect is even harder. Once you've earned Viper's respect in the gang, he'll open up to you, and trust you. But before then, he's on edge, waiting for you to make a single aggressive move which will trigger him to remove your spirit from Lux altogether.

Victor has alexithymia, a condition that removes emotion. After a fighting accident in his young adulthood, caused by a fight his parents forced him into, Viper lost the ability to feel all emotion. All except for hate. The ability to not feel removes the guilt, the wish, and the wonder from that often weakens the normal human making him a much deadly killer and chaos machine.

On quick notice, Viper can adapt a plan. He always has a back-up, just in case something goes wrong. He's always prepared. However, this level of preparation makes him very self-reliant, to the point where many may wonder if he needs the gang. Even so, Viper is always on time to anything gang related and never misses. If you give him a date, time, location, and task, Viper will show up with a plan and be ready to complete the mission. When in big groups, Viper becomes very impulsive. Often reacting without thinking, a habit that can help in a dangerous situation but one that often hurts in a calm and controlled situation.

Victor is a demi-romantic person. He doesn't develop any romantic feelings for anyone he doesn't know well. And even then, it is a very slim chance he will fall in love with someone following his former trauma.

History

Born into his family, his parents were obsessed with public image. From the second he came into the world, he was their picture perfect posing child. Behind closed doors, everything was different. Yelling, manipulation, abusing magic. Everything that could be wrong with a family was most likely wrong with his.

As he grew older, while still a young child, he learned to defend himself. How to protect himself from the strength of his father. When his father found out when Victor protected himself though, everything changed. What he had once had as a defense was used as public image once again.

Being placed in a fighting ring with your family name depending on it, and fighting to the death, or near death, to grant your parents glory was not his favorite activity. It was his most hated. The ability of fighting he'd once had to protect himself from his parents was being used and taken advantage of to bring more glory and light to his terrible parents.

The fights persisted. No matter what he said. Trying to get free of them. Victor hated harming others who had done nothing to him. He became defensive in the ring rather then aggressive.

One fateful day, everything changed. His defense failed. He took a blow to the head. And he went out.

Weeks later, Victor awoke in the hospital. Doctors surrounded him, checking his health. Saying he'd healed nicely. However, Victor felt nothing. No fear of his injury. No wonder of what had happen. No interest in what was to come. He felt nothing.

A week of this later, he was diagnosed with alexithymia. His parents took the news terribly. Abandoning their once star son in the hospital and disowning him. Throwing him to the streets.

He remained in the hospital until he was fully healed and allowed to be discharged. When he was, his life changed. From living in a mansion having everything he wanted, to living on the streets with nothing at all.

Months passed, life was tough. Resentment for the rich and high, and anyone who treated him like dirt grew. It was the only emotion that showed. The only thing he felt.

One cold evening, he was found by a gang. By Club Serpentine. They attacked him, he fought back, and quickly they realized something. That Victor might be a good addition to the club.

He was pulled from the streets, taken to a hideout. He was nursed back to full health, but never fully recovered from the fight. He began running missions on the ground, becoming fairly good at them.

A year later, he was assigned his first solo mission, and when he succeeded, he was given his code name, Viper. Ever since, Viper runs the streets of Asterath under the command of Club Serpentine, obeying every command and causing all chaos possible.

Sahir stands at five feet and eight inches (5'8"). He has blonde medium-length hair. His eyes are green-blue. Sahir only dresses in dark academia aesthetics keeping a low profile in the cities and the runalithe camp.

Personality

Sahir is and eloquent put-together gentlemen. He's wise and knows what he's doing. He's very impressionable and naive making him an easy target for lies and manipulation. Even so, Sahir is very hard-working and reliable, he gets his jobs and assignments done well. Even with everything in his life, Sahir is still very wishful, wanting more then he already has been blessed with.

Sahir is very much a morning person. You can find him awake before the sun rises and you might find him asleep immediately after supper, unless he has an assignment to finish. He loves to drink all kinds of tea, its basically his version of a coffee addiction. The only correct answer for his favorite pass time is reading books, most commonly spell books. Having conversations is also an amazing thing to Sahir, since he enjoys to socialize and feel accepted.

Sahir likes sunrises and sandy beaches. (I know it sounds like a romance novel, but that's it for that). He also love to learn and practice magic. Being the insecure Magehand he is, he has an irrational fear of being discarded or hated so, he finds comfort in enjoying the company of other people.

Sahir hates being alone for longer periods of time. The thoughts and fears usually get to him after too long. He also doesn't like death, he doesn't fear it but he doesn't like to think about killing or dying himself. He hates dueling and the thought of hurting other people though, he will do what is necessary to survive himself. He despises the cold and snow, he hates the feeling of wet shoes.

Sahir isn't a terrible team member, he's a team player. You give him a task and he'll do it to the best of his ability. He'll help out however he can as well. He's also a very active listener, you may not think he's listening but he is. Sometimes that's good, sometimes not.

Sahir isn't all butterflies and rainbows, he lacks assertiveness making it easy for him to be pushed around and bullied. He doesn't stand up for himself and will do anything and everything he's asked because he wishes to please everyone. He's also too sensitive to criticism, he worries that if he does something wrong, everyone will hate him for it and he'll be booted from the team, or worse killed on the spot with everyone in the squad enjoying the scene.

Sahir is a straight male, only finding interest in girls, if that. He isn't opposed to a relationship, but following his extended time studying, he is terrible at making relationships and relying on other people.

negative boss-coworker. although she's his boss, alianna and sahir don't have a good relationship. while sahir doesn't despise alianna, he can't be sure about it the other way around. being a 'wizard' in ruthaline made him an outcast, and on the crew of who he hoped would be a supportive family, alianna is the exact opposite. she gossips, makes fun of, and refuses to interact directly with the 'dirty magic user'. alianna forces sahir into a version of exile whenever she's around. the only time she interacts with him is to give him orders and boss him around, especially when the orders are near impossible or not even a part of his role on the crew. even so, sahir refuses to retaliate and give her a reason to have him kicked out of the squad, taking all of the bullying she has to offer.

History

Sahir was born in Runalithe. He grew up there, his parents encouraging him to do what he wants with his free will as they spent their days in factories for work paying him no attention.

His interests as he got older drifted from toys to books and Sahir began reading, becoming literate at a young but not unreasonable age. He learned simple spells quickly, learning to heal and mend things quickly.

The older he got, into his preteen years, his magical abilities and interests grew. He began searching for books detailing spells that he wished to learn and powers he dreamed of harnessing. In school however, he was a social outcast. The kids disliked and bullied him for learning magic instead of focusing on the physical things in front of them. They called him names, ripped pages from his spell books, and threw him around until he was terribly bruised.

Life began to change as he got older, starting his teenage years, the shadowfog appeared. Sucking the life from the magic and people on the edges of their continents. The threat started small, until it grew.

Even so, Sahir's life remained normal. He huddled in a cave alone, studying spells and practicing them. Then going to school, studying the engineering and principals the continent believed in, then returning home and returning to his own private studies.

The shadowfog slowly took over, as cities began to start falling to it, people realized, this was an actual threat. Short chaos erupted, people wanting to protect themselves. When control was regained, life returned to normal for youth as the adults began to fight.

After graduation, Sahir was required to join the fight. Being on the front lines beside his parents. While on the line, Sahir didn't have his books, but he utilized his magic the best he could. It was the only thing that saved him, as the shadowfog claimed both his parents but not him.

The situation became dire. The people of Ruthaline were trapped. They needed magic to survive. Recruiters for the cause began making a team, one that would hopefully give them a last fighting hope. As the team was built, Sahir got an invitation. One asking him to join the team as a Magehand, one to locate magical objects that could potentially save Ruthaline from shadowfog. Eager to help, Sahir accepted.

For the first time in his life, Sahir was accepted. People admired his magic, the powers he'd spent years of his life learning and being bullied for having. He loved the attention, the way they showed him kindness and the fame it gave him.

Leaving for the mission, he left his home to serve his city with new fame. But as the mission went on, he wasn't as popular with his team. as the mission changed from targeting objects to people, Sahir realized, this was killing. He realized this was a crime. He knew they would get caught. He knew this would mean trouble.

Wanting to maintain his image, Sahir kept serving with the team. But he felt discarded, he was left out of missions and plans now that he wasn't needed to find magical items anymore. He felt like a back-up item. He wonders why he hasn't been sent back to the front lines in Ruthaline because of him magic.

Personality

Sapphira is a very helpful person. She loves to help and does almost anything that is requested of her. She'd quite paranoid, she doesn't like danger and often assumes the worst, having lived off horror stories and creating her own fear of some nobility when in the academy. She's a polished lady, she knows how to act when around higher society and she has a very mystical sense about her.

Sapphira has always loved to help. She especially loves when she helps Vothain citizens in the city with their everyday life doing whatever tasks they need assistance with. She loves watching the beautiful majestic sunrises and sunsets that are visible from Voxthain. She also loves seeing natural beauty: flowers, trees, animals. Anything that is natural and beautiful she loves.

Sapphira enjoys being in busy areas. Places with good traffic and background noise like cafes and restaurants. She also enjoys spending quality time with family, along with giving and receiving gifts from them. She has adopted her parents liking for jewels and jewelry, only wearing things her mother makes for her. Meeting new people and making friends is a big part of her social life, especially when they're citizens rather then related to the big names.

Sapphira hates snobs. She hates how they flash their money at the citizens who do honest work and then do nothing to help them. She also doesn't like darkness and caves due to the limited ability of seeing and the lack of escapes from dangerous or just disliked situations. She hates when people ask her questions for her future, her answer is currently: "I don't know". And it has stayed the same since she graduated. She doesn't like talking to nobility. Although she's polished enough to do so, she doesn't enjoy it, much preferring hanging with those who she can make a real connection with. She despises harmful magic, anything that can cause pain or harm to the natural world she hates, and refuses to learn.

Sapphira is great at understanding. She knows how to look at perspectives. She's also a very active listener and can pick and remember lots of details. However, she has a difficulty in public speaking in front of large crowds or important figures (including her fellow councillors). She also lacks the technical skill in harmful/more advanced magic as she either refuses to learn it or can't do it. Thirdly, she lacks the assertiveness in expressing ideas, when she has one, she rarely shares it. Too fearful of interrupting and being judged, or messing up the cycle of events.

Sapphira is bisexual but, she is attracted to mainly guys. Her dating life is lacking due to her having decently high standards, but if she meets the one perhaps she'll consider him/her.

History

Being born in Voxthain, Sapphira was her mothers pride and joy. She was raised by only her mom, her father being an Asterath miner. One who provided her mother with whatever jewels he could find to provide for her passion as a jeweler. Her parents were a star couple.

As she was raised, she was the large dividing line between the two cities. She was never allowed in Asterath. It was "too dangerous" or there was "no time".

She wasn't raised without a father though. When he was out of the mines, she got to see him and he'd take here wherever she asked. To parties, the pool, the park, and sometimes sightseeing in Asterath.

School was a change. Being sent there at the mere age of 12 was also new. Sapphira was weaker. She didn't have magic like nobles. She'd never learned any, or been taught any.

Her beginning was hard in the academy, but she got used to it. She made friends with the other kids like herself, and steered clear of the noble kids, trying to avoid being bullied, which was successfully done.

Over her years, she learned magic, nothing overly powerful, but enough to get by in a world run by it. Along with that, she also began to do work for the Voxthain city in her freetime. Doing whatever she could to help. Whether it was helping fix something, running messages and errands, or spending quality time with the locals. It became a nice and relaxing job for her, as the kind people often repaid their respects to her for helping them.

Her graduation day was a proud one. Standing on a stage, looking down at her mother and father, seeing them both smiling with tears in their eyes. The joy they showed was heartwarming.

After graduating the academy of magic at 18, Sapphira was lost. She didn't know what to do. She hadn't had any plans for her life. She hadn't thought of it. What would she do with her life? What career? Did she want family? A lover?

She didn't know what to do. She was distraught, almost lost. The only thing that kept her going was the locals of Voxthain. Her people. The ones she'd helped al throughout her academytime. And with the plentiful hours of new free-time, she continued to help and support them. It was the only thing she felt was right.

Only weeks after loosing herself, Sapphira was faced with the best opportunity of her life. One that would shape and change her life. One that would allow her to serve the people of Voxthain. All of the hours she'd spent serving for the locals paid off: she'd been nominated to be voted as a councillor.

The news was great. Many seemed overjoyed by the thought. It took Sapphira time to warm up to it. Wouldn't the new job limit the time she had with the locals? Eventually she decided that perhaps it would, but it also meant that she was be able to represent them. So she ran. And she won.

Months later, she was there. She was a councillor. Still learning and trying to find her voice with the nobility she'd avoided all those years ago, she struggles. She yearns to support all those she loves who are like her, but she also doesn't wish to upset the way the councillors work. So she remains in the background of things, offering little and observing much trying her best to learn.

Micheal is a very faithful guy. He always keeps his loved ones in mind and only acts according to his beliefs. He's quite gullible but, he's also independent. He can be irritable at times but, he will rarely take it out on another person. He's also very noncompetitive, he hates finding ways to compete with others based on luck or skill or both.

Micheal's two favorite things are visiting his wife and seeing his daughter. They are the two most important things in his life. He also loves finding unique jewels in the rocks, after all finding the same thing one after another can get quite boring in the caves.

Micheal loves the moon, seeing it as the sun of the night, providing light but not too much. He also enjoys classical music, something calming to listen to (something that reminds him of his daughter). He likes parkour, jumping form rock to rock, practicing his agility and skills. He enjoys simple magic, creating food and water to help the miners survive, and anything else that is beneficial in the caves.

Micheal hates bright lights and the sun. They remind him too much of his father'd death and his retreat from the caves. He hates crowds and being too busy, it overwhelms him with too many thoughts and things for the simple man he is. He also doesn't like the voxthain city, he much prefers his home in the Asterath caves.

Micheal has great motivation. He get set his mind to something and do it. He's very loyal, never betraying trust and trusting whoever has earned it. He's a team player, he will do his fair share of work and will cover someone else's if asked. However, he is a bit disorganized, having a messy living space and work environment (he knows how to find things in the mess). He has difficulty managing stress, being overloaded with tasks is too much for his mind to juggle and he won't be able to do anything. He has to take his work one thing at a time. He has difficulty in giving feedback, he hates to criticize as it makes him feel like there is a competitive environment, which is something that will draw a definitive line between his relationships.

History

Micheal was born in Asterath. He was the son of a miner and a drunkie. So, he raised himself with his father, deep inside the caves.

His childhood wasn't normal. Rather then it being filled with games and friends and toys, his was filled with jewels and pickaxes and stone. But that was his normal.

The older he got, the more useful he became. Being able to put on muscle and mine with his father. Learning the basic magic the men in the cave knew and used to be able to support himself and whoever lived in the caves with him.

Micheal didn't attend school. The only friends he had were the other miners, which happened to be at least 20 years older then him.

At the age of 22, an accident happened. A part of the cave collapsed. Trapping whoever was inside, including his father. Following the accident, Micheal was a mess. He decided to leave the caves for some time. Searching for a new lifestyle.

After leaving his employment as a miner, Micheal searched for a new life. He hated the caves but he hated the light. Even so, he couldn't suffer the pain of his father's death and the reminder of being in the caves of Asterath was too great. so, he moved to Voxthain.

A few months later, Micheal met a young lady, his age, and the light of his world. He began to recover, healing the pain. He fell in love.

His life continued, and three years later, he proposed. In a field of lovely roses, a flower the love of his life Ruby adored. She said yes, making both the happiest alive.

A year later happily married, Micheal was surprised with news: Ruby was pregnant. He was going to be a father.

Preparing for their new addition, Micheal began to search for work, and as he saw his love struggle for jewels in her jewelry shop he thought about his life in the mines. He could support her, and his daughter by mining for jewels for his wife.

After long discussions and a final decision, Micheal moved back to the caves. A place that suddenly after 4 years felt just like home. He remembered the homeliness of the darkness and his love for the simplicity of life as a miner.

Micheal didn't raise his daughter much, he only got to see her when she came to the mines. Even so, he tried his best to be the amazing father she deserved. He did everything in his power to keep her happy.

Micheal today is still happy, mining away in support of his wife and daughter, and visits his wife often.

History

Andre was born into the Delacroix family as the second son. His older brother was two years older then him. The two grew up together, staying in line, and having fun. The older they got, the less they were allowed to goof around in public. However, they're parents never entirely stopped and punished them for their shenanigans.

Andre attended Cogsworks Academy as a kid. Back when the academy was newer and more exclusive to the rich, noble, and high in society families. He grew up in a small class of around 20 other boys. They spent years together, learning everything there was about life.

Back home, things were normal. His brother was being taught to be the head of the family. And got delivered the news that he would have to have kids against his wishes to continue the noble bloodline. That was the worst of his life though.

Andre watched his brother walk at graduation. Feeling pride and envy watching his brother escape the prison that the school had become. Even though it was nice and made for people like him, he didn't love it anymore. He was ready to graduate.

And he finally did.

After his graduation, Andre got the honor of being an adventurer. He spent his time exploring the world, discovering new species, learning things and writing about them for everybody to know. Along with him were two other boys in his class, the three being the only adventurers at the time.

Free from the prison of the academy, Andre got to see everything. From his first mission to find the ocean with the other two boys, to the second and many more about his looking for details about a new forest they'd been through.

He experienced nightmares of death. Plenty of them. Ones that would wake him up in sweats. The worst of them happened on missions, and as a result he grew to hate dreaming at all. Wanting to have none at all to avoid the possibility of remembering the terrifying things he saw.

More missions and more years past. Eventually, Andre was getting older. He knew it was time to move on. After a resignation, Andre left the service of adventuring for the cities.

Andre settled down at home. Beginning his new life in the estate. He first fell into a depression, what would he do? What was his life worth now that he was too old to adventure?

That answered itself. Meeting his brothers kids were all it took. Young, they were bundles of joy, creativity, and curiosity. The first time they sat at his feet while he told them a story, he realized that he could pursue magic. He had used it before, but perhaps he could awe the kids with more fun spells.

And so he did. He began learning and perfecting his magic over the years. Mastering even the hardest spells, no matter how long it took. In that time, he saw a sad reality about their broken household after his parents died: his brother didn't want kids, so his biological kids had an absent father.

Andre couldn't take that role. So instead he buried himself more into his books. He began working on new magic. Creating spells, first simple easy ones, then as he got more experienced with more years, he moved into harder ones. Ones that could kill or leave permanent damage. He writes novels about his works, and now is known less as an adventurer like his youth and more as a wizard.

Melody is a very obedient girl. If you ask her to do something, she will do it. She is also quite respectful and respectable. She is a very intelligent girl, having loved/loves learning. Melody loves music, just like her name suggests. She is a skilled flute, piano, and opera singer. She enjoys to learn violin as well. History

The Seavey name is an ancient name. Passed down for generations in Voxthain, some rumor the founders of the noble name are even people who began the city of Voxthain. To the nobles and the people, Seavey's are some of the most admired people. The name is known for it's hiring and hospitality for those who work inside the palace (they hire any age above 10yo) amongst the people, giving them a dependable income along with a bed to sleep in and food to eat. To the nobles, they are one of the purest bloodlines out there, having hosted annual balls to find matches for the sons with only noblewomen. However, when a son takes a bride, she must take his name before being wed and leave her family behind. Similarly, to keep good alliances with the other nobles, the Seavey line always offers their daughters up for arranged marriages, making them from as early as the age of 15, attend balls for men and be married out of the Seavey name into a new one.

Melody is the youngest of four kids. She was born to the Seavey family as the younger twin of her parents last set. Around the same time, her aunt and uncle gave birth to her cousin (now disowned).

Growing up, Melody took a great liking to music. She adored her mother's singing and piano skills, and aspired to be like the woman. She would sit on her mother's lap while she played piano, and try her best to sing along to her mother. She began singing as soon as she could speak, and never left her mother's side creating an unbreakable bond. Her older brothers also created strong bonds with her, and although they had separate interests they always were kind enough to make time for the four to spend together. On the other hand, her father put less of an effort in to taking care of Melody and only criticized her when she did something wrong.

From the ages of 7 to 13, Melody began to experience the unthinkable: bullying. Being a daughter of the direct bloodline of the Seavey family, Melody had a purpose in life whether she liked it or not. However, her cousin didn't like it, the girl was jealous. It began when her toys began to go missing, music would be ripped and destroyed, and the girl would borrow things and never return them. But quickly that wasn't enough and it evolved into nasty notes and more detrimental damage to her property.

The longer things went on, the more people noticed the subtle details, including the way that Melody began to hide her music. Instead of showing off her playing, she would hide in her room to play. Instead of being chatty and happy, she became shyer and less talkative.

When things took a whole new turn at 12 years old her brothers noticed. Melody's hair would be pulled out in small chunks, she had small bruises across her body, and she had no self-confidence like she had as a kid. At her 13th birthday ball, her cousin tried to ruin her dress, cake, and steal her gifts, and her brothers caught on. They told her mother who immediately comforted her and tried to pull out the truth.

Days later after being interrogated, Melody watched as her mother informed her father who never showed her any love personally. To her surprise, the man did act to protect her. A week later, Melody watched as an announcement was made that her cousin was no longer a member of the Seavey noble family and she was stripped of her last name.

After that, she began to recover and her father sent her to Cogsworth academy to give her a new start. Things started slowly for her as she adjusted to her new life and safety.

Things went well at first, Melody felt important seen. She had everything she wanted. Until new students began showing up, common people. The ones that lived in shacks rather then manors, and weren't invited to balls. Upon their arrival, Melody noticed the attention they got and the lack she received. As a result, she began to ruthlessly pick apart all of the new students, finding their insecurities and secrets and going as far as she could to make it so she had the attention she deserved.

The only release she had a was music. Calming melodies and harmonies she could sing and play in lonely areas away from people. She was very set on never being heard by anyone, not even her mother anymore, after the harsh words her cousin had used to describe her playing and everything about her.

Her fifteenth birthday gala came and went. Melodies life changed as she became more responsible and realized that her life could be turned around any second. She could be pulled from school and be married away from her mother and brothers against her will. She began rebuilding her relationships, growing closer to them and confiding more in them as she became aware.

Melody is about to graduate Cogsworth, marking the finishing of her education. She still has scars, mentally and physically, from the beatings that her cousin gave her. While she is learning to play in front of people again, Melody is still afraid of preforming.

Khaos is on the taller side of the scale at around 5'10". He has messy blonde hair that is died to have a red taint. His facial expressions are always solid and cold. On his right arm, he has a snake tattoo from his years in Club Serpentine, except now the tattoo has an addition of blood coming from the killed snake. His daily wear is simple, leather fighting gear with the occasional cloak. He only wears his sword when he is scheduled to fight, but when he isn't he still has smaller blades hidden in his boots and belt.

Personality

Khaos is a strong-willed man. He's very easily irritated and also quite careless. When you do get him to talk to you, he's blunt, telling the truth without sugar-coating it. Khaos is a crazed man. Some can argue that he's gone mad. When you see him outside the ring, he's one of three things: angry-- shouting, throwing things--, drunk or high-- to the point where he may yet again yell and throw stuff still--, or functioning-- which is so rare that if you see him like this the world might be ending. Inside the ring, he's a cold-blooded skilled killer. The only reason opponents make it out alive is because he's forced to not kill them. On either side of the ring, he's a very dominating figure, and not in a good way.

The only thing that Khaos truly loved was his twin brother. The man that he supported and was supported by until he watched the man murdered before his very eyes. Grief consumed him, but not any normal mourning grief, hatred, guilt, and revenge. The only thing that Khaos loves now is blood, blades, and anything in-between. If he has a chance to take revenge for his brother, he will gladly take it.

Life changes, and Khaos has adjusted to that. Now, he passes his time in the tavern. The only places he enjoys other then the ring. Being drunk on alcohol is his second favorite thing to being drunk on adrenaline. That is all he likes, besides revenge of course. However, Khaos knows that revenge will never bring his brother back to life.

Everything in the world Khaos hates. Conversations. Noise. People. Light. Everything he hates. His solution? To yell. To break things. To intimidate. Although it sounds childish, a child is not 5'10", a rebound fighter in an illegal fighting ring, or drunk.

Romance is off the table in Khaos's book. While he is straight, and can spot a hot girl at a distance, he will never approach. He knows his life is shit, he knows he isn't good news, and he definitely believes that nobody is going to want a mess of a man like him. Although, if true love really exists, maybe he isn't as far gone as he believes?

History

Life was never kind to Khaos. First, he had to deal with a terrible name given to him by his parents. Then, he had to deal with terrible parents. Finally, he had to watch his brother get murdered in front of is eyes. That's how he keeps it simple in his mind. However, a lot more has happened to Khaos then that.

He was born to the worst parents in Asterath. They were broke. They were irresponsible. They were drunks. They were druggies. They were addicts. They were gamblers. They were robbers. They were neglectful. They were everything a parents shouldn't be. And even worse, their parents didn't care. Growing up, life was not "hide this reality behind the curtains", instead they had to show off their life like a trophy. And in Asterath, even with all the gangs, that life was not a trophy to show off. Especially not to two raggedy half-fed boys.

Life was nice to him for once though. He and his brother were offered a new home. One in a club. It sounded like fun to two 10 year old boys they needed food and shelter! And it was nice to them, unlike their parents who didn't even notice they were gone, or they did and never tried to find the missing twin boys.

Being trained to kill gave the boys purpose. The two became an unstoppable duo. By 13, they were on missions to go rob and destroy anything they were told to. While the morals of the gang weren't perfect, the shelter and food that the two received was enough to keep them from questioning.

When the boys turned 20, tragedy struck Khaos again. After 10 years of gang life, someone made the decision to commit murder. Not against anyone who mattered, against his brother, Kalm. That morning, Khaos was awaken by a bloodcurdling scream from the bed beside him, Kalm's bed. And then in front of his own eyes, Khaos watched as a new snake girl stabbed his brother in the heart then ran. While he wanted to chase her and give her the same treatment, he went to his brother to try and save him. However, the injuries were too severe, and Khaos watched his brother die a cold and painful death in his arms.

The death of Kalm was his breaking point. His brother, his twin brother, his partner in crime, his life buddy... was gone. Khaos spiralled after that, falling into a range, his life became centered on revenge. Following the death, he spoke briefly to a few gang members, learned the murderer was named, Taja (@Elizabeth), then he left the snakes for good, unable to stay with a gang that allowed the death of his brother.

His life was a mess. He was angry. He wanted revenge. He was homeless. He drank and he yelled. He fought with random people on the street. Then, he ended up in a tavern, drinking himself drunk then picking a fight with like any other day. The only difference this day? He had found the fighting ring. The moment he won a fight, Khaos was asked to join the fighting ring.

His life changed a bit, the ring giving him a path in his life. He made the ring and tavern his home. He trained, he fought, he won. He channeled his anger into fighting, dreaming of a kill even though it wasn't allowed. In the tavern when he didn't fight, he drank and yelled like nobody else. He made the ring his outlet for his anger. Even so, there was still a bit left boiled in him waiting for the perfect moment...

Faulx has dark curly hair and hazel eyes. He stands at about six feet. When it comes to clothing, he dresses in strictly black always making sure he looks sharp and presentable. He wears a high-end cross necklace visibly at all times however he refuses to explain where he got it. Faulx's choice in weapon now consists of easily disguiseable double-bladed throwing knives that he wears on a concealed carry belt wherever he goes.

Personality

Faulx is a two-sided person. People only ever see one of his sides though. This side is his determined and witty side. He's always willing to help, however he's quite secretive when it comes to his personal life outside the militia. He is very precise and orderly, determined to ensure that everything is perfect and always on time to meetings. The other side of Faulx is different. It's the mercenary blood-thirsty side of him. He is a greedy person, desperate for anything that anyone will give him. This is the life he holds outside the militia, however it's disguised perfectly so that nobody will ever know.

Faulx loves taking risks. While some are calculated risks, others are wild risks. Either way, he has a great knack for disguising them. He also loved constant and steady workflow, something to keep him busy at all times. Besides that, Faulx loves fancy expensive things. Yep, he's a gold digger. While he does have a good sense of loyalty, if you give him enough of a reward, he will do whatever you ask him.

Interestingly enough, Faulx likes grapes. It's a curiosity, but any type of grape if he sees it is his. Don't try to fight him on it or your hand might get cut off. Besides that, Faulx also likes plants. He enjoys the freshness of the air in Voxthain compared to Asterath caves. He also enjoys the greenery since it provides a sense of life.

Faulx doesn't like when people bring him things or help him. He sees it as undermining his responsibility. Even if it's a simple good deed like bringing him lunch, don't bother. He'd see it as an insult rather then favor. He dislikes nosey and over talkative people. Being a mostly calculated person, he knows when and how to shut up, when other people don't it bugs him greatly. Sometimes, he'll imagine how to shut them up himself.

Faulx suffers from SSS aka Short Sleeper Syndrome. This is a genetic condition that allows him to function perfectly normal with between 4-6 hours of sleep. It's a great aid to his sneakiness and his value since he is more active then most.

Faulx has some great qualities. He's very eager accepting basically every opportunity he's given. He is willing to learn when given the option. He's incredibly calm under pressure. However, with that, he also has some less appealing qualities. He has terrible time management and he can't prioritize certain tasks over others. He also is overly focused on minor details making sure everything is perfect when it doesn't have to be.

Faulx is omnisexual; however, he never really pays attention to his romantic feelings always fearing being misled and heartbreak. He does notice those he's attracted to but he tends to avoid them at all costs successfully. Hence, he's never fallen and been broken before.

History

The streets of Aserath are rough and killer. Being raised in them is never easy. You're forced to live life with struggles and scars. That's exactly how Faulx's life was. He was born pre-maturely and was a fighter from the beginning. His mother died giving birth to him leaving him to be raised by a fighting father.

Faulx's father was a fighter, literally. He was a member of the fighting ring. Being raised surrounded by betting and fights was no place for a toddler. His earliest memories of are him sitting in a bar watching his father beat a man with his fist until unconscious.

Fighting was built into Faulx. From the moment he could walk, his father taught him how to fight. Fist, knife, sword, spear, gun, wrench. Everything was a weapon to Faulx's father. Sleeping at night with bruises from his practice sessions became a nightly ritual that included tossing and turning in discomfort and pain.

The older he got, the more his life changed. Watching his father win fights became a tradition as Faulx made bets that won his drinks even though he was far too young. Practice fights became more advanced and complicated as Faulx learned strategies and new skills. Sleeping grew harder, but he never became exhausted even though he only found a few hours.

By the age of 16, Faulx was ready deemed his father. He joined the fighting ring and began righting beside his father rather then against the man. The two bonded in the first few years, taking a liking to each other and each others fighting styles. However, when Faulx began fighting alone after 2 years of duo fighting and making his own name, everything changed. His father began to resent him, disliking the fame and praise that his son received. It was clear as day when the switch began to Faulx, but he ignored it. He knew that nothing would come of it.

The fissure and distance in the relationship grew. The two began fighting each other in the ring and out more and more. Everything bubbled over until Faulx's birthday. He was turning 21 and he was celebrating in the ring in another fight against his father. This one went very wrong though... When the fight began, they circled and right before the first strike, his father said something that Faulx would never forget, "I'll kill you for killing your mother." That's how everything changed.

Walking out of the ring was surreal. The screams weren't cheering like it should have been, they were screams of horror. Behind him, there was a bloodied and dead body. Faulx himself was bloodied and weak. He had put up a tough fight, so had his father. But they both had known that only one person was walking out of the ring alive tonight. Either way, killing was intolerable in the fighting ring, and everything that his father had built for him, crumbled the second his father died.

Desperate for a new start, a life not labeled as a murderer, Faulx moved to Voxthain. He spent a year wandering, finding odd jobs that put his skills to use. He tried to prove to himself that he didn't need his father to give him purpose in life. Eventually he did when he was secretly hired by a family looking for him to do a job for them. He accepted and went on his way, wondering how long he'd be employed by them.

The same year, Faulx became a member of the militia. Somehow, he was turning his life around. Everything about his life was on his records, but somehow he'd been selected to be a field soldier. Most likely because he knew how to fight. No matter what, he wouldn't let the opportunity go.

He worked hard to become noticed and highly productive. Five years of solid militia work later, he received amazing news. His actual tactical skills from the fighting ring were being put to use. The new role as tactician fit him much more perfectly and he adjusted to his role with the same and possibly more dedication to the militia.

Faulx keeps his lives separate. The militia is one place, his personal relations are another. They shouldn't mix. He works hard as the tactician, doing everything in his power to make sure the militia tactics are perfect even if he might make a mistake here and there.

Maverick has a darker complexion and brown eyes. His hair is black and he wears it in cornrows. He dresses in grunge trying to make himself look tougher then he is. It consists of a mixture of oversized clothes, leather jackets, ripped or faded jeans, and belts and chains. He also has his ears pierced and wears tiny silver hoop earrings.

Personality

In Asterath, you have to be a fighter to live. If not, your likely to die. When your a man, your also expected to know how to fight. Looking dangerous is part of survival. Acting cold-hearted and being able to control his emotions is a major part of Maverick's survival technique. However, Maverick, or Mav for those on his inner circle, is a softie and sweet-heart once you get to know him. He's very gentle and kind and definitely doesn't have a single fighting bone in his body which is a bit of a bad thing since he resides in Asterath.

On council, everything is important to manage but a few issues speak the most to each councillor. For Maverick, those are safe living spaces and facilities around Asterath. His goal is make sure the streets of the city are free of homeless and all business facilities are in a well-kept condition. Along with that, Maverick volunteers with various small businesses doing pretty detail-oriented things like decorating and aesthetics (shocker for a guy XD). The most urgent part of his job currently is searching for facilities and arrangements in case Voxthain has to evacuate because he's taken the lead in making sure no Asterath citizens are homeless.

Maverick is a book boy. He loves to read and imagine make-believe fantasy worlds. He also loves decorating and doing aesthetics, it's a relaxing activity that he enjoys. Besides that, he loves to snack on mushrooms and animal crackers.

Maverick enjoys brain games like crossword puzzles, word searches, and mazes. He likes how they challenge him and getting his brain working at a high capacity. He also likes attending community events like festivals, plays, concerts, and almost anything else imaginable. Being a girly guy despite how he presents himself, he enjoys to do hair. If a girl has a hair crisis, he can be able to fix it to her liking within a reasonable amount of time.

Maverick hates unwanted attention. Things like being challenged to fights or being made fun of is something he despises. He doesn't understand how people can put up with it. He also doesn't like being called out when he's trying to blend in. He also hates hypocrites and when people do things they force him not to do. It's hard to get onto Maverick's nerves since he forgives after a few hours and a fresh mind, but if someone does something terrible, he will despise them.

Maverick is a very strategic thinker. He's good at making plans with good outlooks and can visualize ways to overcome specific hurdles in the paths. He's a very honest person as well. It's hard for him to lie to someone if it about something stupid. If it's life or death or something serious, he may be able to keep a straight face. His motivation to work is also incredible. Working in a field he loves allows him to never get burnt out. With all that, sadly he isn't perfect. He's not the best at negotiation is isn't the member of the council trusted to do it. If he has to negotiate, someone should be in the room with him to ensure he doesn't do something stupid. He's also disorganized. Ask him for a hair tie, he can't find one till a day later. Ask him for a document, you better start searching his office with him so you actually find it. He's also not good at public speaking. Even then, being a shyer boy he doesn't approach when he sees a girl he likes. That being said, Maverick's sister doesn't care about any of that. History

The Pari household is a lovely place with a welcoming homey mother who adores her children and the people of Asterath. Besides mom, there was also a nonexistent father who somewhat helped raise the children. Maverick's personal opinion is that his father did little to raise him besides fund him like a charity case with money. He grew up well-off so it didn't bother him but sometimes he wished that he'd known the man a little bit before he passed.

Being raised by a single parent is quite hard on the kids, not only the parents. From Maverick's experience, he learned at a young age it meant that he had to be responsible enough not to get into extra trouble but in return he had a lot more freedom than other kids. He could venture around the city, engage in what he wanted, and had to return home at night. While it isn't the best parenting, it's how Maverick was raised and the days that he did get to spend with his mom were very worth it.

Childhood was nice. He got as much ice cream from the truck at the park as he wanted. He got to spend hours as the library. He got to go cuddle the dogs at the shelter and sometimes was allowed to play with them for the staff. He got to spend a bit of time with his amazing big sister, not every toddlers dream but it always made his day.

Being the son of a councillor, education was a must. Maverick attended Cogworks from a younger age where the rules clashed with his free schedule. He adapted and learned quickly developing a knack for brain games in his free-time despite how often people called it "an elderly activity". His years were a wiz of classes, tests, lunches with friends, adventures through Voxthain, and then another year of classes.

By the age of fifteen, Maverick had found his groove in life. He hadn't figured out his future but he had a schedule. That was until it was all shattered by a single letter: Pari Family, we send our condolences as we deliver the news that your father or husband, Audun Pari, has tragically passed away. Suddenly, the perfect schedule of laughing and homework was halted and crumbled down on him.

Maverick felt like a lost boy in a sea of crushing waves until his sister, Starla, rescued him. Starla became his rock. He depended on his sister for everything as he came to terms with their fathers death. She supported him, hugged him when he cried, made sure he'd eaten and drank water, and did her best to make him smile. Recovery from grief was a rollercoaster but Starla was there through the entire thing. Eventually though, within some months, Maverick had found his footing in the world again. He clung to his sister less and learned to support and live his own life again going to class, laughing with friends, and enjoying life in the city.

The years came and went. He watched his sister graduate and then a few years later walked the stage himself. Being an eighteen-year-old with free will, Maverick developed his life around his interests. He took gigs/jobs designing things for smaller businesses and decorating for parties. He volunteered at the library. He made a small living off a hair-dresser business for girls.

He watched Starla take their mother's place on the council to continue the family legacy. That sparked the passion in himself to help the people more then he already was. For two years, he aspired to be like his mother and his sister: to be a councillor for the people. When a position opened up, he campaigned and ran for the position. He consulted his mom and sister for advice, but ultimately in the end, all strategies were his final decision. When the votes were tallied, there was hope even though he hadn't run the cleanest campaign and his family reputation helped him earn the position of councillor.

As a new councillor, Maverick tried his best to be a very public councillor. He consulted in the community and attended as many events as possible. The events led him to a animal shelter event one day where Maverick met animals in different stages of life all rescued from abusive past-lives. There, he met an adorable yet terrifying rottweiler. He made the quick executive decision to adopt him the same day, and that's how Bandit and Maverick started their bond.

Over the following few years, Maverick developed a solid role in the Asterath council. After adjusting the Bandit's story, he began to advocate, push for, and support safer living environments for both animals and dogs. He became highly specialized in overseeing the citizen population vs resident buildings ratios along with trying his best to enact safety laws that target dangerous groups and areas of the city.

Catalina is quite the country girl. She's very thoughtful towards others and is very kind to visitors. She always tries her best to be pleasant to be around and overall a bubbly a cheery person. She's very charismatic and cares about everyone no matter if they are a friend or enemy. She's a very clean and tidy person. Sadly, she isn't all good. Catalina has a tiny problem with impatience. She tries to be respectful but if she has to wait she won't be happy. She's also overimaginative and a hopeless romantic. Finally, Catalina is quite an emotional person. She doesn't try and hide how she's feeling keeping a healthy relationship between herself and her emotions.

Catalina loves giving and receiving hugs. She's the kind to greet you with a hug, hug you to comfort you, and give you random giddy hugs when she's happy. History

The Stormvale family is unique compared to other families. They are a strong-knit family of varying blood. All of them are related however, the family straddles the two cities. Since councillors don't get along as well as some would imagine, the Stormvales are in charge of keeping the relations between the two cities civil.

Catalina was born into the family as the daughter of the patriarch. From a young age, she watched her mother and father straddle the two cities. As a baby she was given crystal binkies as a gift from her asterathian father's side of the family.

Nothing was truly unique about Catalina's life. She was a young girl, around five, living in a noble family. She learned incredible cooking skills from her mother's side of the family at her young ripe age. However, her father's side of the family was more distant during her youth.

While her life between the cities was definitely unique at a young age, something she had in common with all children was her Cogsworth enrollment. She spent time socializing with little girls from both of the cities her age learning parts of both cultures (not only from her family but from the children too). Kids had a tendency to flock towards her for one of two reasons: 1) because she was a noble or 2) because she was kind to anyone and everyone. Making friends within the academy was easy for her; however, having friends loyal to her for her was a different story. Catalina experienced her fair share of fake friends during her first years at Cogsworth but slowly she learned how to weed them out of her circle with time. Eventually, she found her footing by her fourth year at Cogsworth.

As she grew out of the endless playing phase and into her teens, Catalina's interests and morals evolved. Following her tough years with others, she made the decision that despite what she'd experienced, she would always be kind and welcoming as a first impression rather then hostile. Secondly, she started experimenting with new hobbies in her free time. She began memorizing recipes from both sides of her family (and with a few years she became highly skilled at fresh pies). Along with baking, she began learning how to herd cattle in her free time. She loved how the activity involved extensive energy and athleticism.

Growing up comes with multiple factors. One being maturity while another is changing interests. Her liking to herding cattle dwindled within a few years and she settled on replacing it with horseback riding which she quickly found a passion for (once she learned how to stay in a saddle). Along with that, she began growing her own food (just fruits and vegetables; however, later she limits to just vegetables since she can't keep fruit alive).

In her junior year at Cogsworth, Catalina started talking to a new friend, just some guy who seemed nice. She spent the majority of her time with her family and friends but slowly her free time and the time she reserved for herself was turned into time to talk to him. Quickly though, it became too much for her to handle and she told him to leave her alone and she stopped responding. Her life returned to its natural state of how she was comfortable.

Senior year into graduation from Cogsworth was uneventful. She dedicated more time to herself and settled in Voxthain since she preferred sun, breeze, and fields over darkness, must, and caves.

Four years later, Catalina has a second shot at love. On a trip to meet family in Asterath she meets a gentleman who seems all too perfect and checks every box without a red flag in sight. Being the hopeless romantic she's turn into, she falls for him immediately.

Two years later everything is perfect with herself living her dream with an incredible boyfriend. But things get even better when he proposes to her. Catalina is over the moon accepting and wearing the sparkling gold diamond ring that compliments her perfectly showing it off at every waking moment.

Six months later, nearing current day, her fiance seems a little bit... distant? Catalina chocks it all up to wedding stress. She herself is finalizing flower arrangements and getting ready to attend final gown fitting and doing a last check of the food tasting for the impending wedding. Surely his distance is from the same stress... right?

Stewart stands at a fair 5'11" tall. While his height turned out nicely for him, he lacks the muscle mass every guy dreams of. For most of his life one of his biggest prides was the pureness of the Seavey hair color and how blonde they were; however, in the past 3 years, he has started regularly dying his hair black.

Personality

Stewart's strongest trait is his loyalty. In his eyes, loyalty is earned, not given. He has a mental hierarchy for people to climb in order to earn his loyalty that is achieved via successes, blood relation, intelligence, and gender. The only exception to his loyalty is his wife who has his undying loyalty. Besides that, once his loyalty is earned, he will support you until he dies.

Stewart is a very single-minded man. He only sees one goal, the goal presented to him by generations of Seaveys'. He's dedicated all of his life as patriarch to achieving the goal set out for him to complete. Side quests are fun, but ultimately, that must help achieve the final goal of his family.

Stewart is a self-conscious man. Despite the confidence he gives off in public, it's all a performance. His self-conscious nature developed in his youth as a child when he failed to learn many of the most basic spells and his confidence continued to remain minimal through much of the remainder of his life. He often sees his flaws overlooking his own successes. He has an unhealthy habit of comparing himself to others behind closed doors.

Stewart is surprisingly opportunistic. While this does include jumping onto a train ride of chaos the moment any noble drama happens, it also includes any opportunity present. Free food? Opportunity taken. Free publicity? Sure! Host a massive event that looks good on the family? Absolutely! Manipulate innocent people for your own benefit? Why not!

Stewart is a prejudiced man in his own unique way. While he doesn't look at skin or eye color like many, he looks at hair color. In his eyes, pure blonde hair is the most significant trait a person can have. Having a family of children with that exact trait personally encouraged his theory in his mind. Alongside that, he also supports many of the outdated views towards woman provided by past generations and tradition.

History

All families have those tiny fucked up traditions… right? From birth, Stewart was a part of one of those. He was the firstborn son, he was destined to be the overruling patriarch of the Seavey family. He was also destined to die at the youthful age of 50.

His childhood was a blur of gold, paper, and proper etiquette. Sit up straight! Head high! No slouching! Speak properly! No mistake was ever welcome. When he made one, he was met with his least favorite item: the wooden paddle. On the contrary, he watched as his siblings experienced an entirely different childhood than he did: just gold and paper. A twinge of jealousy welled within him.

Cogworks was an experience to be had. Struggle after struggle, Stewart disappointed his father. He failed at achieving magic so incredibly that some might think he had no magic within him. It was a terrible experience for Stewart. He’d walk the halls head down and embarrassed. He was from such an important and powerful family, yet he couldn’t cast a single spell.

The dynamic of the household as the children grew was quite condescending. Any attention you received you were desperate for whether it was praise or criticism. The first time he watched family tradition in the works, he was still a student, still powerless, and still jealous of his siblings' less demanding lives. He watched his sister get married away to a gentleman in another family and smiled, glad to have less competition for attention and one less life to be jealous of.

The year after was his graduation. The ceremony was quite depressing in his opinion. So many speeches about exploring your future (as if he had a choice). The graduation party the Seavey’s hosted for him was an entirely different story. A beautiful extragovanza that celebrated his grand achievements (of learning about three spells in 18 years). The night was a blast.

The years following he was taken under his father’s wing (kinda). His father would be there to show him the ropes and disappear constantly. Over time, he learned about the newspaper empire. He learned to write, edit, publish, and distribute the papers. He learned how the family portrayed different families of noble blood. One thing he never understood about the importance of their manipulative work was…why?

In his early 20, while reading the morning paper, Stewart saw an article about his arranged marriage. That was how he learned that his father had found a suitable wife for him. A woman of class and appearance. Within a few weeks, the two were married and his father was already asking about kids. He didn’t have to wait long since Stewart’s firstborn son was born a year after he married his wife.

Two years later, his father turned 50 and he watched the second fucked up family tradition. The death of a patriarch. Grief didn’t grip him as he read the generations of letters written by each patriarch since the beginning of the house. Instead it was duty. Each one had worked towards the same goal. Now it was his turn, now he was going to serve the family legacy.

Stewart’s wife had three more children as his bond with her grew. He grew connected and addicted to her. She became his light in the darkness of his life whenever he saw her smile and heard her laugh. Even when he didn’t care about anything, he grew to care for her.

Cogworks was quite a disappointment to Stewart as a parent as it was when he was a child. Watching his son getting detention time and time again, he wrote multiple letters about how they needed to properly discipline his son so he didn’t act out. He never blamed himself, he only blamed the school. After all, they’d fucked up with himself, it would be no different now.

Arranging a marriage was one of the hardest parts of being a patriarch. You had to be nice to other families. Helping organize the arranged marriage between Alianna and Tamerion was one of the most dreadful but exciting moments. He’d found a perfect wife for his son.

When the wife-to-be ran from her engagement, Stewart was enraged. He was proud of his son for grounding himself in the militia and living out his life, although he was desperate to teach the boy about the newspaper business as his years were counting down. When Tamerion was kicked out responsibly left the militia, Stewart wasted no time beginning to teach his son the ways of the papers. In the back of his mind, he also knew he needed to find the boy a new wife.

Covering the tracks of Mattias’s issues were nothing past annoying. The boy had continued in the family business, thank god, but the drinking was quite an issue. Stewart didn’t understand, his son had no issues or worries of family curses to deal with.

The disappointment of a child his youngest son was. Teddy was a STEM student. Not a journalist, a STEM student. After not being the brightest student himself, Stewart was disappointed and enraged that Teddy would waste such a skillful mind on things so minimal.

The only thing he cared about was the arranged marriage of his daughter going properly. No running away. He knew she had some issues from tantrums she’d thrown as a child, quite minimal in his mind. Sure the girl had scars but that was part of life.

The inner child was clawing at him. Death was so close but he’d never had a chance to truly let go and enjoy life. His childhood had been filled with expectations and failures, not fun. He yourned for something enjoyable. A way to become a different person who could have fun and enjoy their life… So he did.
