I know of two SF ebooks that are currently much cheaper than usual, at least in the US Amazon store. Check prices, particularly if you are seeing this several days after I posted it.

The Marann by Christie Meierz. This is the first of the Tolari Space series. We have discussed this book before. Some scenes on spaceships but mostly on planets (Earth and Tolar). Some romance. I have reread it several times. Marked down temporarily to $2.99.

Infinite Stars: Dark Frontiers. Anthology of short stories by a lot of different authors, with enough names that I bought it without reading the free preview. Marked down temporarily to $1.99.

On Amazon UK, The Marann is down to £1.89, but Infinite Stars: Dark Frontiers is still up at £7.99 so you got a bargain on that one, Teresa.

I keep checking the price on the UK site - it's now dropped down to £5.03, so it's going in the right direction. I'll hold off buying in the hope that it will drop further. Has anyone started reading it yet - and is the selection any good?

I started reading the story by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller in Infinite Stars Dark Frontiers. I got about halfway through, thinking it sounded familiar, then realized yup I’d read this story before. A lot of the stories appear to be ones I’ve read before, such as Ender’s Game: Messenger, Lensmen: The Vortex Blaster, Pip and Flinx: Sideshow. I’ll take another stab at it later.
