Rosemarie Sugatan (rosey_sugatan) | 7 comments I collect vintage cookbooks and am crushed that I lost one of my favorites a couple years ago when we moved to another country. It was a large book (but not very thick), about a US Letter size, with a red softcover. As far as I can remember, it was written by a husband and wife team who were also artists, as they did the illustrations for the book as well. The drawings were very eclectic--fat, nude (but not crass) people that leapt and danced and cooked across the pages and on the cover. The recipes themselves I am unsure of if they were of a particular cuisine. The only one I remember was either moussaka or baba ghanoush. There were also a section on growing sprouts from seeds in a glass jar.

Rosemarie, I copied some book details to the topic header. Feel free to edit it.

Were the illustrations whimsical black-and-white line drawings, somewhat similar to the Vegetarian Epicure?

Rosemarie Sugatan (rosey_sugatan) | 7 comments Thanks much, appreciate it. Yes! It looked a lot like the drawings there!
