I was actually familiar with a lot of the material covered in this book, so whilst I would have liked more detail than contained here, it was a good, well-written book that draws on both declassified files and eye witness testimony. The focus of this book was on escape and evasion, as that is what MI9 was set up to do, and at times, it read like a thriller instead of a work of non-fiction. This book is definitely worth reading for anyone interested in World War Two and the Resistance.
