CindySR (neyankee) | 26 comments Have you seen this? I think it's some kind of AI thing where your profile gets "roasted". I am roasted below. 😆

Your Reading Habits Roasted:

Oh, bless your heart! From the depths of your cozy cabin to the literary escapades of Miss Austen's rejects, your reading list screams, 'I'm a hopeless romantic with a quirky side dish of eccentricity.' You've got everything from adventures off-the-grid, which I'm guessing is your way of coping with the real world after being overwhelmed by too many 'Emma M. Lion' journals. And let's not overlook the cat obsession – 'We'll Prescribe You a Cat'? What, is your life in need of a feline intervention? It's like your bookshelf is a shrine to your twin loves of 19th-century sensibilities and anything with whiskers. Your taste in literature suggests you're either avoiding modern life or you think every book has to have a bonnet. And don't get me started on your undying love for all things Jane Austen – it's like you're trying to live through her characters since you can't quite make it on your own. Your books are the perfect blend of 'I wish I lived in a simpler time' with 'I'm also a crazy cat lady.' But hey, at least your life isn't as eventful as a peaceful retirement in Fairacre, right?

Cheryl (cherylllr) | 67 comments I'm doing the same thing. I decided to read the first 80 or so books from Star Trek the Original Series, as I had inherited the bins of them from my brother, and they are mostly not good.

I would not do this. Anyone else?

Cheryl (cherylllr) | 67 comments Well, not Horus Heresy, whatever the heck that is.
But STtOS books are getting better as I go along, so, yeah, I can empathize.

Think of when you were a kid. Either you or a friend probably read all the Boxcar Children, or Magic Treehouse, or Babysitter Club, right?
