The third installment of the series didn't enchant me as much as the first two. This was due in part because of the change in audiobook narrator; he did a fine job to be sure, but having gotten used to and enchanted by Tim Curry as narrator, the change was noticeable and a little disappointing.
Aside from that, however, I didn't like the new caretaker (Aunt Josephine) very much so when it came time for her ultimate demise, I wasn't terribly sad about it. Mostly I was glad the children might finally be able to eat something warm for once, even if it was once again under the uncertain circumstances of who they'd end up living with now.
