And I have an answer to your "To Die For" question, but on fifth thought, it's probably better not to put it to "paper" here...

I put down the first book in the 6:20 man series - you are inspiring me to finish it. It's staring at me from my book shelf. It's taking a bit to get going. I will finish it in December.
Towing a bank - will have to check that one out!

I might have been a bit rhetorical, I have ideas too, but keep my politics out of my reviews mostly.
White supremacists have a plan to take over the country. Can anybody stop them? (A-)
Big Trouble: Dave Barry
Sometimes it is so hard to distinguish between a farce and a caper. Maybe because this was a farcical caper, and in places, more than funny enough. (B+)
Goldhammer: Haris Orkin
Still with the farce vs caper conundrum. A mental patient who thinks he is James Bond escapes the institution to save the world (again) (B+)
Operation Sea Lion: Leo McKinstry
Non Fiction. England, and to a lesser extent, Germany in the period prior to the US entering the war. (B+)
Bad Love: Jonathan Kellerman
Alex gave a speech at a conference decades ago. Now it has come back to haunt as a killer targets therapists from that conference. (B)
To Squeeze a Prarie Dog: Scott Semegran
Not a mystery, not a thriller, but all is well that ends well for the data entry clerks of Texas Dept of Unemployment. (B)
The Suspect: LR Wright
A very gentle murder mystery. Reads like an English novel, but in fact is Canadian, featuring a Mountie and a small town librarian, both drawn to a crime of passion. (B)
Blood Test: Jonathan Kellerman
An old one, almost 40 years, but ages well. A cancer ridden child is spirited away by his family. Alex Delaware wants him in treatment, but nothing is simple. (B)
Celtic Empire: Cussler
This will be hard to believe, but there is yet another megalomaniac out to destroy mankind, and only Dirk Pitt (and family) can stop them. (B)
Any Minute Now: Eric VonLustbader
Your typical superspy wet work type novel, with a significant supernatural twist. (B)
Bank Shot: Donald Westlake
When Dortmunder decides to rob a bank, he is not kidding around. He puts wheels under it and tows the place away. (B)
